I really enjoyed the pirates trailer... i think it will be better than the previous 3. Hopefully they have moved away from trying to be too funny. Curse of the Black Pearl is pretty fantastic. with GotG2, I just don't think it will have the charm the first one had and go overboard trying to top the first one too desperately.

I had that reservation as well but read an interview after the embargo dropped on Monday where Gunn specifically said they avoided doing the gotta have a dance off scene or whatever just because the first one did. He said he wants to subvert expectations and give people something they didn't know they wanted which is a cool idea to me.

Now, whether this is all lip service is another story for sure. But any time they drop an embargo this early it's a sign they are very confident.
