Great marketing, perfect release date, great movie -- huge win for WB.

 

[Primal Slayer]

Just finished watching it.

What a film. It had a decent sized audience and plenty of responses (mainly laughter).

Really enjoyed it, the way they broke it up and told each story leading into one another. Cast was great, esp for being replacements.

The fact that basically (imo) NOTHING was answered in regards to the big mystery of the movie except
A. what happened to the kids parents
B. What she needed the kids for

and I still liked it, is astonishing. Of course it left me wanting more.

But I wonder why Aunt Gladys spell didnt completely break over everyone once she died. It broke for Thanos but the parents never recovered. The kids didnt seem to recover, at least not for a hot minute since the mysterious narrator stated that some began to speak again. Is it because the tree is just sitting in a dumpster? No water got on it? It's permanent unless a new spell is cast to unbreak it? I need a sequel and a prequel STAT.
