Zack Snyder confirms Faora survived

Loved Faora in Man of Steel, don’t think she gets talked about anywhere near enough.

She barely does anything of substance in the movie so there isn't much to talk about.

If you say so.

She’s brilliant in the movie, she’s intimidating as F and her arc with Hardy is great. Of course I’m just spreading my opinion which I was doing so in the first place :whatever:

As was I... no need to repeat that.

I have to agree with Greens-- I'm flabbergasted every time I see a conversation about Faora. She's a non-character who had an okay-good fight scene.

I'll third that. She looked cool but nothing more, really.

What makes Faora is her embodiment of the Kryptonian Superiority Complex.

Glad she survived. That will be important in the Man of Steel and Justice League sequels that never happen.

Yeah, I liked her well enough in the movie but I don’t understand all the comments about how she was the best thing about the movie and deserves better or whatever. She’s the DCEU Boba Fett. Or “Barb” lol.

#JusticeForFaora

I think people liked her because she actually was a villain that felt like a threat. Something a lot of comic book movies lack. Also Antje Traue is sexy so there is that

I liked Faora too. I found Antje Traue to be very alluring, and she was a good henchwoman character IMHO. She wasn't heavily sexualized either. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

At the same time, it's sort of irrelevant for her to be considered "alive."

She was fine, but I liked Ursa from Superman II better in what was a very similar role as Zod's main henchwoman.

It’s true she didn’t do much, but I liked Faora more than Zod.

Non had more lines in Superman II than Superman had in BvS.

If Faora survived, so did Colonel Hardy, and I kinda want to see them get it on. :hehe:

I also want to see Faora vs Wondy. That would be epic.

I can just see Faora dripping with contempt for Diana's morals in the same way that she did for Kal's, and the fight would be stellar.

Definitely cut Amy Adams loose. Nothing against her, she's a very talented actress, but she ain't Lois Lane. Not to me.

Wow. I love her Lois. I just hated how she was treated in BvS (forcing an actress of Adams caliber to deliver expositional dialogue needlessly in the nude automatically proves that the Me Too movement has credence)

I feel like Clark/Superman maybe had too few lines in Man of Steel also. It's not as bad as in BvS but it still comes off like the director wants to minimize the dialogue of the somewhat unproven lead actor, as was the case with Brandon Routh. The reason people thought Superman's personality was so out of place in Justice League is he was barely allowed to do much except brood and keep a mostly serious demeanor in the previous movies. We saw only one or two facets of his personality.
