Justice League Zack Snyder Directing Justice League - Part 8

That's the thing you don't understand.

AT&T doesn't see it as a project that lost money for them, because it was made before they bought Time Warner, by other people. And they couldn't care less about "jobs" of people like Diane Nelson or Geoff Johns. It's not their people.

They bought a content library. On that library there's a different cut, some will say a new movie altogether, of the Justice League - their biggest IP probably. And there's demand for it. And it can be finished for "cheap", compared to other blockbusters.

AT&T has nothing to do with the Snyder Cut, that's the thing most people don't understand. Like I said before AT&T is a phone company, they don't know the first thing about making movies, that's why Warner Bros. is there. WB funded the movie along side their producing partners, they also own the movie and the characters in it. Any decision about releasing the movie is going to come from Warner Bros. not AT&T and not WarnerMedia. Just look at what WB did regarding Scoob:

'Scoob!': Animated Scooby-Doo film is going straight to on-demand

"While we’re all eager to be able to once again show our films in theaters, we’re navigating new, unprecedented times which call for creative thinking and adaptability in how we distribute our content,” said Ann Sarnoff, Warner Bros. chief executive, in a statement.

Warner Bros. opted not to send “Scoob!” straight to its streaming service, HBO Max, even though the timing nearly lines up. HBO Max launches on May 27

If AT&T and Warner Media are able to control what WB releases, why didn't they just take Scoob from WB and put it on HBO Max? Because that's not how it works.

Eh, AT&T are the owners of WarnerMedia now, I'm sure they can do a lot more than (like firing Tobey Emmerich) just put movies they want on Streaming if releasing them is not viable option.

The reason why they are not doing that is because they want it to be released on VOD. HBO Max release will come later, like what they did with BoP.

Also, WB the movie studio has no control over HBO max.

Logic dictates though that AT&T cant just simply take over production, funding and distribution of the Snyder Cut without WB’s say so. WB literally made that movie.

AT&T and WarnerMedia don't have authority though. They have to go through WB for green light approval to get a WB produced movie released on HBO Max. The Warner Max press briefing stated this, I just used Scoob as an example because rival Disney+ is putting some of their theatrical releases on the streaming service first instead of VOD. And yeah, HBO Max is a Warner Media product, not WB. That's a typo on USA Todays part.

Yes, sure, AT&T has no say.... They're just a phone company... That's why Stankey - an AT&T exec for over 35 years - landed on Warner Media's head. That's why almost all of WB execs were demoted/fired over the last 18 months.

Why would AT&T want Scoob for HBO Max? They already set Warner Max for new content for their streaming service. You're saying it like I implied AT&T wants Warner Bros. to shut down because of the Snyder Cut.

Of course, AT&T wants Warner Bros. to function, because they want their content, but the Snyder Cut has nothing to do with Warner Bros. anymore. It's collecting dust in the vault. And if there's demand - and high probebility of making money of it - and Warner Bros. isn't planning to release it because of studio politics, you can be damn sure AT&T will ask "Do you not want to make money for us?".

"AT&T and WarnerMedia don't have authority though", lol. They'll sntach the Snyder Cut like taking a lollypop from a kid. It's theirs.

"Almost all of WB execs were demoted/fired"

Please show me evidence of of all most all WB execs getting fired.

Warner Max is apart of HBO Max, that's why I mentioned Scoob. Also, how is a product owned by Warner Bros have nothing to do with Warner Bros anymore? AT&T have so much authority regarding WB movies yet the Snyder Cut still hasn't been released despite almost 3 years of folks campaigning for it. Like I said again, Toby Emmerich is the green light person for WB movies on HBO Max/Warner Max. Here's the article

Warner Max: Warner Bros & HBO Max Form Film Production Arm For Streamer – Deadline

In other news, apparently HBO Max’s official twitter account has been liking Snyder cut articles....probably means nothing but fun to speculate nonetheless lol

Honestly, even when this global pandemic ends up dying down later this year (hopefully), I still don't expect to hear anything significant regarding this before the end of 2020. I'm sure excuses will be made by all scoopers saying that there' still rumblings going on behind the scenes or that they're still working out a deal. Meanwhile, the movement will end up dying down and people will eventually lose interest in it as time passes by and better things come about.

We're just going to go through the constant rinse and repeat cycle where Snyder will release a few photos/tidbits here and there followed by the RTSC fans garnering more money to donate to "Suicide Prevention".

If anything, the only good and realistic thing that we can take away from this is that more funds will be available to charitable organizations.

Warner Max: Warner Bros & HBO Max Form Film Production Arm For Streamer – Deadline

When Tsujihara was gone mid 2019, AT&T execs were looking for women and only women for the CEO job, because they were afraid another scandal will come out on one of their top guys... Even though Toby Emmerich was right there, waiting to take the crown since 2016.

And what do you know... Toby Emmerich... the guy who has dirt on the Johny Depp & Amber Heard case and that's the only reason he's still at Warner Bros. after a string of flops and underperformances. A dead man walking.

Read between the lines and you'll understand he has no power. He can be overruled with ease. If he's so almighty, why are Warner Bros. insiders leaking that they're not happy with Warner Max to the trades? They have a poppet who's afraid for his career as their greenlit option.

Some of you think you know Hollywood so well, when all you do is connect dots that are handed to you by PR and spins. I know actual Hollywood agents, and trade reporters, and they paint a very different picture of La La Land.

Eh, this ain't something to brag about to be honest. Big question is...Do you have Aria Lee and Lexi Belle in your contacts? I do.

If Snyder needs money to finish it and is so deseparate too why doesn’t he suggest to WB that he find a way to raise the money himself? Just feels to me like he wants WB to pony up more money on a film they massively overspent on when in reality they’d be crazy too.

Justice League: GoFundMe Edition

This time around, Zack can proceed with doing additional photography where everyone is wearing a face mask and he can just use CGI to remove it as well. Hell, let's make every dace mask either blue or green so that it's easier to render on the computer screen.

Cavill can’t still play Supes at 40 to me. And even older. I do hope it all works out for him and Amy but if it ain’t meant to be then so be it.

I’d love to see the pair of them get the chance again but as you say if not then so be it. The characters of Superman and Lois Lane are bigger than any actors who portray them.

I know this will be seen as random given how many cycles and tangents this thread has been through, but I do have a question.

just finished watching Justice League for the first time since seeing it in the theater.

Why does this movie get so much hate? It is not a bad movie by any means. I enjoyed it thoroughly granted I know the cgi is a source of much dismay.
