Crowe as Zeus was definitely a scene stealer. Like a cross between a mob boss and a professional wrestler, which kind of is about right for what Zeus should be based on the legends. Also, the way he has implied layers- sure, on the surface he's King Decadent of Decadence City. However, between his little whispered conversation with Thor, and the stinger scene? It seems to me that the decadence is at least partially a facade, covering a mix of fear and resentment. Was Omnipotence City created as a monument to the greatness of the gods, or as a fortress to keep them safe in a universe where being a god was increasingly ceasing to be a free gift of untouchable invincibility?
