Horror ‘Resident Evil’ | Netflix Series

Infinite Darkness was pretty disappointing IMO aswell. For one its just four episodes and yet it still feels like it could have just been a two hour movie with what little actually happens.

Maybe its just me, but it felt like there wasn't much story at all and even worse not a whole lot of variety with the creature action either outside of zombies and those mutant rats in the trailer.

It was actually kind of boring for the most part and I was constantly noticing how the animation wasn't 100% polished either, especially whenever the characters were speaking.

I'm still interested in a second season because I still believe this franchise has alot of potential in this format, but they have to give us something better than this.

Infinite Darkness was awful. It was basically a soft remake of the Degeneration animated movie.

Claire Redfield was marginalized and did absolutely nothing here. She really served no role in this plot where very little even made sense.

After watching Degeneration/Damnation/Vendetta in the past... its not surprising that Infinite Darkness didn't leave much impression to me.

These animated features are just filler/something eXtra to watch. It really doesn't impact the future videogames whatsoever and the stories in these animated features won't really lead to anything.

Its a basically a tie in product that RE fans can just ignore.

I guess I was the only one who enjoyed Infinite Darkness?

Leon is my favourite RE character and while Jill is my favourite female I do like Clare also. They need to polish the animation a little more for next time but I will watch a season 2 for sure. Enjoyed the monster in the final episode also.

I didn't think it was well written but to each their own. The motivations and plot twists didn't make much sense.

Why was Claire in this movie, and what did even do of significance?

I didn't even make it through the first episode of Infinite Darkness. The wonky animation turned me off the most.

It was about as well written as the games are I suppose.

And Claire discovered what the Wilson was doing with the soldiers while Leon was kinda just thrown into it. I do hope they give her more action in a 2nd series though.

Except Leon found out all of that himself from interacting with them. Also, Claire never informs Leon of anything. Nothing Claire does has an impact on the story or narrative.

Leon refused to leak or whistle blow the information or work with her on it.

Well Leon had the chance to interact with them through circumstance, Claire didn't and still discovered it anyway. And she couldn't inform Leon as once she found something out she was caught.

I do think there may be some conflict between them in a season 2 though.

OK but what was the point of her discovering any of it? It had no impact on the story. It didn't impact Leon's story or change anything at all. Her role in this story was pointless.

I do think there may be some conflict between them in a season 2 though.

I have no interest in a Season 2 after this. There's no guarantee one gets made anyway.

I sure hope it has a proper budget for this unlike the recent film.

Actually…this actually looks much better than expected. Not saying this isn’t going to be bad, but it does look pretty solid to me so far.

Looks bigger budget than the recent movie.

But also looks like the Paul WS Anderson movies spread out on a show.
