Animation “My Adventures with Superman” in the works at Max

I definitely think this will get a simultaneous release on Cartoon Network and HBO MAX like Primal. I don’t want this to be like Aquaman: King of Atlantis and get released on HBO MAX first and then Cartoon Network even though that mini series was an MAX original to start anyway but for this series I think a simultaneous release is the right way to go.

I get HBO MAX through AT&T( don’t know how long that’ll be with everything going on) but prefer to watch on Cartoon Network because it’s been so long since we got an major superhero animated series on the network and I want to support it there. Anyway rant over. Actually not that long if you count Justice League Action but I didn’t really watch that haha.

Yep, another Superman or Batman show, seriously does DC/WB even realize they have other and easily more interesting characters.

So we’re getting season three of Superman and Lois next year and then a new Superman solo animated series after 20+ years in the same year…. Oh boy we gonna be eating with Superman content on television next year.

Not surprising, it's all part of general Zas and WBD's plans to reinvigorate the Superman franchise that's been "languishing" (allegedly Zas's words) for many years thanks to those monkeys who were at WB but are not anymore.
In addition to S&L and the new animated series there is also the post Smallville i.e. Superman animated series by Welling, Rosembaum and the Smallville producers. The show has been greenlit since Feb but they haven't announced it officially yet, probably waiting for Gough and Miles to finish work on the Addams family series they're currently working on. Although things have changed since WBD have taken over and they made it very clear that they're less interested in animation projects so maybe this post smallville series might go the way of the Batgirl movie, but I really hope not.

P.S. I also have it on good authority that a new (open world) Superman game is (and has been for a while) in the works at WB Monterial.

I had been looking forward to this and I'm glad to see that it will be soon. I wish that was the case with Caped Crusader but you can't always get everything exactly when you want it.

The "S" really reminds me of Electric Superman.

I am not at all a specialist of Japanese animation and all its variants, but everything I see of this new Superman series, ironically, reminds me rather of "franime" like Totally Spies or Martin Mystery.

I can only wish them the same success.
