spot on SAS is the main issue he's injected into everything and for the life of me can't see how people like his narcassistic nature of putting himself above the playerssESPN is a shell of its former self. People like Stuart Scott, Kenny Mayne, and Hannah Storm made the network entertaining. It was like watching sports with all of your friends.
Today it is just a bunch of folks yelling at one another. People like Steven A Smith making themselves the story and drowning out all other opinions by screaming. We went from watching with friends to not watching because our dysfunctional family can’t stop fighting long enough to turn the channel on.
I still have no idea what they were thinking drafting Richardson. I guess they weren’t keen on anyone in FA that year. But heck, he was totally unproven. He was Mitch Trubiski 2.0.Daniel Jones named Cotls starter good for him
but Colts fans i feel bad for you guys
He's not looking that great.....that's for sure. I think they were looking at a a guy who was 6'4", 245 pounds, ran a 4.38 40, and had a rocket arm. That's all great, but you have to know how to play QB too. LOL.I still have no idea what they were thinking drafting Richardson. I guess they weren’t keen on anyone in FA that year. His problem is that he has never been accurate. Even against college defenses he lacked accuracy. He's not looking that great.....that's for sure. I think he could still be a very, very good QB. You see a lot of guys in their mid/late 20s when all of the sudden a lightbulb goes off. Maybe in a couple of years.....or so.......
All too true. IIRC, Josh Allen had accuracy issues....not this bad though. QBs can mature and if they work on developing their skills, they can improve dramatically. The Burrows, Mahomes, Marinos, etc. of the world are the exceptions; even when they are drafted very high in the 1st round (which Marino was not). His problem is that he has never been accurate. You have no business playing QB in the NFL if you have a 40% completion percentage.

That sounds about right to me. In the NFL, you just never know though. I've been expecting the light bulb turn on in Daniel Jones head for a couple of years now and I've seen a few flickers. The guy has the talent to be a really nice QB, but has been very inconsistent and you just can't play QB in the NFL without consistency. The fact that Richardson pulled himself out of a game for being too tired last season, this decision was probably an easy one. Not to mention he looked awful in his preseason games.
I don't expect the Colts to be very good regardless. Probably a 4 to 5 win team there.

Maybe this year......many Giants fans were probably thinking the same thing. LOL
As far as Richardson goes, yeah......that was one of the weirdest things I ever heard. Can you even imagine Joe Flacco (or anyone else for that matter) doing something like that? SMH....
That's the kind of player that "can" improve when the game slows down just a bit, but I totally understand your frustration with him and I'd probably feel the same way if he was on the team I follow. I'd also be pissed if this was the year he gets it.man listen I capped for him for 6 years he's the first one in building last one to leave, O line needs improvement etc..
He just can't read defenses I wish him no ill will but I'm glad he's another teams problem now
and yes I"m hate watching the Colts this year lol
Yes with marginal improvement our 5th rd pick Mbow #71 looks like a hidden Gem played well on both RT and LT in the preseason so i'm not worried about the instructing LIne adjustments is a QB skill Jones didn't have hopefully Russ can and tach DartThat's the kind of player that "can" improve when the game slows down just a bit, but I totally understand your frustration with him and I'd probably feel the same way if he was on the team I follow. Speaking of OL, did they move Neal to OG? If so, how's he looking? He just didn't have the mobility and quickness to play outside, but he's really big and my guess is that he's really strong. They should have tried him there a long time ago.
I saw Dart play some the other day and was pretty impressed; although I didn't see that much of him. He was really accurate and made good, quick decisions. I can see why the Rams wanted him.Yes with marginal improvement our 5th rd pick Mbow #71 looks like a hidden Gem played well on both RT and LT in the preseason so i'm not worried about the instructing LIne adjustments is a QB skill Jones didn't have hopefully Russ can and tach Dart
To be fair, that “punch” was more than justified. The TE pushed him 15 yards down field for about 5 seconds after the whistle with his hands inside the face mask. Shiloh shouldn’t have been the one ejected. If I was playing for the Bucs, I'd wanna punch someone too.![]()
I didn't see the play, but if I'm another team, I pick him up. I watched him play a fair amount in college and can't help but think there's a team out there that he can help.To be fair, that “punch” was more than justified. Also, being related to Deion Sanders probably doesn't hurt, either.I didn't see the play, but if I'm another team, I pick him up. I watched him play a fair amount in college and can't help but think there's a team out there that he can help.
Not too sure about that.......you certainly have name recognition though. All of his kids are gonna be just fine. I'm not up at night worrying about them. LOLAlso, being related to Deion Sanders probably doesn't hurt, either.
Beyond name recognition there is the hope that genetics would benefit them. Not too sure about that.......you certainly have name recognition though. All of his kids are gonna be just fine. I'm not up at night worrying about them. LOL
He was a college player up against high schoolers. He was just so much better than everyone else, but didn't work too hard getting off blocks to tackle people. He was great at running people down though.Beyond name recognition there is the hope that genetics would benefit them.
I firmly believe that Deion is the most impactful and greatest all around football player I have ever seen play.
It does hurt because the owners want to send a message who's got the power. Also, being related to Deion Sanders probably doesn't hurt, either.
