šŸˆ NFL - Game On

I don't watch the college game much, so can't speak to his talent. Hopefully he's ready. Feels like the same kinda mistake all these franchises make of rushing guys out there because of job pressure.

The way the G's handled this whole thing is so bizarre to me. I really don't get the Wilson signing and it's even more confusing now. I get he's been trash and probably deserves to be benched, but if the rope was going to be the small, they should've never brought him in and just started Winston.
I wasn't sure about signing Winston and Russ, but I could see it at the time. Once they drafted Dart, it looked, in retrospect, weird.

The way I see it is if you're gonna have someone who can't win you games at QB, you might as well let your future guy learn......just don't get him killed. LOL

Does anyone see Russ playing past this year? I suppose if some team gets hit with the injury bug, they might take him on, but his days as a true starter are over. If someone gets really desperate for a QB this year, I get rid of him faster than I can auto dial my phone.

I can't stand the 9ers, but that is a damn shame and I hate to see it happen.....to anyone.
I’m fine with the 9ers. But I can’t stand Bosa. I don’t cheer for anyone getting injured, but I’m not broken up over it either.

I grew up in LA watching the Rams/Dodgers, so.........when I moved to the Bay/Monterey Bay Area, I decided to pick a team that was nearby (MLB and NFL). I couldn't stomach rooting for the 9ers or Giants, so I went Oaktown full on.

See my post just above yours......never liked Wilson LOL

It's looking like picking up Skattebo in the 4th was a freaking steal. He can get to the edges, but after that, he doesn't do a lot of east and west and if you're gonna tackle him, you better get yourself nice and low because he wants to run through, not around, you. Kinda reminds me of.a John Riggins sorta dude.
we got Tracy for that but word here from the hounds [Sports writers] is that if got boat raced in these next couple of games like non compete like we've been doing Daboll is out of here mid season and
quite frankly the Jones success in IND is a huge indictment on him 4 sure

my dream scenerio is Belechick gets canned in UNC and he comes the man is an NFL coach not college
I"m the only one amongst my circle that wants BB

I will also take McCarthy

basically saying this team has broke me and I don't know a dam thing lol

Im rocking with the actual NY team in Buffalo yes I said what i said

I would get canceled in NY if this gets out lol

I wasn't gonna bring up Jones (again), but his stats last week were crazy (again). 70+% completion, 220+ yards, 1 TD, 0 Ints, 113+ rating. It "might" be too early to say Indy has found their QB, but it's sure as hell starting to look that way. This "could" also signal problems for Dart if the coaching staff was part of what was holding him back.

Better stay mum on the Bills thing. :funny:

Some franchises are just broken and the QB becomes an easy scapegoat. It's always fun to see a player move on to greener pastures and thrive.

I've always like the Bills rooted for them in SB 26,27,28
but yeah u can't say what I said in NYC Giants fans will dis own me and Jets fans will slash my tires

I'm afraid my Giants are indeed broken
ever since we Fired Coughlin and retain Jerry Reese it should have been reversed

Yeah.....Coughlin was a good coach. Pretty much the strict disciplinarian IIRC, but always had his guys ready to go.

My Raiders outBeared the Bears.....SMH......

As the old Brooklyn Dodgers used to say after the Yankees won the World Series...."wait'll next year"....

Oakland had their runs with some all time great players. Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson…Jeff George šŸ˜„

Yeah, I’m anti-Bosa since he’s huge MAGA.

I had season tickets from around 1995 until 2005, so the QBs were Jeff Hostetler, Jeff George (who was always talking about his "groan" injury LOL), and, of course, Rich Gannon. I think Tuiasosopo (sp) also QBed.

So much hope, but no light at the end of the tunnel. Timmy Brown was my guy. I bought his jersey after way too many beers and margaritas. It was the only one left at the old Coliseum after a game and it's probably a good fit for Lincoln Kennedy. I'll post a pic of it sometime, but the only time a normal person could wear it is when they are really, really drunk and I haven't had that opportunity for quite sometime.

Actually, my wife bought the jersey for me, but I thought my story was better. People buy me XXXXL jerseys all the time because I'm larger than life and never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

EDIT: Didn't know that about Bosa.

Yeah, I liked Tim Brown, even if he had the most unlikable QBs in the league throwing to him. I guess Steve Buerlien was ok.

As to Bosa, he interrupted a Brock Purdy post game interview on SNF to flash a MAGA hat. It made him look pretty stupid tbh.

Yeah I don't think anyone saw this play from Jones let alone the entire Colts team. Sometime QB's just need to get out of the situation they're in and start fresh. We've seen that from plenty of QB's lately.

As for the AFC South, I'm hoping the Jags get an upset Monday night against the Chiefs. KC will then have the Lions, Commanders and Bills 3 of the next 4 games. They could essentaily be 3-6 heading into their bye. They did look the Chiefs of old against the Ravens, though. So maybe that record is flipped the other way.

He came back down to earth against the Rams, but I watched the game and he wasn't horrible. He made some mistakes and got a lot of pressure, but I honestly think he's gonna do just fine. The Colts could actually win that division and I wouldn't have believed that before the season started.

Taylor is a bad ass........they need a bad ass WR too....don't get me wrong WRT Pittman. He's big and tough, but I just think they need that major #1 with speed.

That win came at a huge cost but SB winners rarely feature a dominant WRs at least that's how i have to look at or not I will have to on 24 hr watch

Dart showed he can operate the offense and but he needs to slide he will learn
and for love of all things

Keep Abdul Carter on the edge and stop this dropping back in coverage BS
he is dominant on the line
