Very glad I left Tennessee/Arizona on in the background to catch that insane interception/fumble/touchdown
That's about the only way the Titans are going to win games, but don't listen to me. the Giants beat the Chargers and then lose to the Saints the next week. Freaking baffles me. The Chargers didn't look that great though...I think mainly because their O line has taken more of a beating than imaginable.Very glad I left Tennessee/Arizona on in the background to catch that insane interception/fumble/touchdown![]()
I was thinking about what to write (mainly to you) during this game. I said a long time ago when Maye was in college that I couldn't see him lasting past pick #2 (I was wrong), but when you guys got him, I knew you had your QB. Whether the Pats won or lost tonight, that dude is a total bad ass.Nothing is better than the Buffalo Bills showcasing why they, and most importantly the quarterback, are frauds. It's significant better when it comes at the hands of my team. I'm so right about them it's not even funny.
Anyway, this should hopefully go down as Drake Maye's arrival game. Talk about year 2 leap. Best he's played as a pro. Under the lights on primetime TV? Best I've felt coming out of a Pats game in a long time. Some of those throws were next level elite. What you want out of a franchise guy.
I've always loved Diggs and it's great to have him on my team. Guy is awesome, and the more the connection with Maye grows the better.
Team needs to clean up the penalties though. Which, by the way, I need Shawn Hochuli thrown into the sun. He and his officiating crew are awful for the product of the game. That was ridiculous. Flagapalooza. I'm not here to see you, you massive raging toolbag.
I actually think Lawrence is easily a top 10 QB in the league, but has been on a wretched team with worse management. He has a ton of arm talent (I hate that phrase), but pushes the envelope too often; mostly out of necessity because they are almost always getting the snot knocked out of them. He made some absolutely beautiful throws and as far as him stumbling, I'd probably stumble too if I was backing up and a 320 pound lineman stepped on my foot. The main difference is I would have gotten up much quicker and zipped into the end zone much sooner.......How are the Jags 4-1? Truly in disbelief because that QB like hardcore sucks. He's wretched to the point of literally stumbling into a win.

As far as why they are 4-1, I think that QB is the biggest reason. To be fair, he's got more help this year.
That's a REALLY good point. Being in SoCal, I'm quite familiar with Coen. He's really, really good on the O side of the ball, but having McVay as HC rather constricts you. He was never gonna get the chance to have his own team in LA.I think it's the coaching, which has helped elevate the quarterback to what he's actually capable of. Urban Myer was never gonna be a succesful head coach in the NFL and Doug Pederson, IMO, never really had the track record like Liam Coen has. While Pederson's Super Bowl win was impressive, how he got there and the defense they played is another story.
Does this mean the Browns are throwing in the towel or do they think they've got a QB?![]()
