🏈 NFL - Game On

Ravens will somehow catch those fraud Steelers.

Legit could see the Pats being the surprise this year. Drake Maye is built right.
I'm with Cap, if someone ends up catching them it'll be the Bengals. Those Wild Card spots are going to be interesting to see how they shake out. I think when it's all said and done we're probably looking at some kind of combo like:

1. Colts
2. Pats/Bills
3. Chiefs/Broncos
4. Steelers
5. Pats/Bills
6. Chiefs/Broncos
7. Jaguars

We'll see what the Bengals do, and maybe they make some kind of run for that 7th seed if Flacco looks like he did the other night, but I can't imagine any of those other teams falling out.

Jaxson Dart Legacy game #2. Somehow the Chefs are tied for first place after losing 3 of their first 7. And Patty has all his weapons back. :funny:

I do not expect the Jags to keep winning. Very fraudulent. Chiefs will smoke us in a few weeks, but I'm happy. Very happy.

Lamar is back next week. I just think it's setup for him. Especially for a division where 10 wins could win it. But It's definitely a long shot.

I do not trust Bo Nix.

1. Chiefs
2. Colts
3. Pats
4. Ravens
5. Bills
6. Chargers
7. Texans

Problem for the Ravens is they still sucked even with Jackson on the field :funny: Their defense is just too ass for me to believe they'll make a run. Sure they've got some winnable games left on their schedule, but them digging out of a 1-5 hole? 9-2 the rest of the way seems like a tough ask. I can't see them completely sweeping the division, only losing to one other team when they have Chicago, NE, GB, and Minnesota still on the schedule.

I don't trust Nix either, but I think that team is built well enough where they'll hang around. I imagine that division is going to come down to the final couple of weeks. Chargers are going to miss the post-season despite the hot start. Gonna finish around .500. Their defense is a problem, and their oline injuries are killing them.

Jacksonville defense should keep winning them games. Especially with some of the offenses they're playing the rest of the way.

At least enough to sneak in. AFC is so down this year.

Leaving the AFC North for the end because long.

The Chargers have a lot of issues, agreed. But I'd trust Harbaugh and Herbert over Payton and Nix. Broncos still have the Chiefs twice and the Chargers banked a win there. But that one I'm less sure about.

Jags defense hasn't been good imo. I know they beat the Chiefs, but Mahomes got pretty much what he wanted, just like Stafford did today. Their schedule isn't super robust but they still have us twice, the Chargers, the Broncos, and the Texans. I fully expect Lawrence to unravel more and more. So I'll take the Texans, who have a better QB, even with that poor OL.

So I've kind of made the Ravens my pet "other team to follow" this season. Started by accident but when Lamar got hurt, I got into Locked on Ravens and here is the thing. The Ravens schedule has been hellish so far. They lost to the Bills (should've won), Lions, and Chiefs with Lamar. They then lost to the Texans and Rams. All 5 playoff teams from last seasons, and with the possible exception of the Texans, at least 4 more this season. The Chiefs are the only team that kicked their asses properly with Lamar.

The Ravens injury situation has been insane on defense. Their trades seemed to help last week with the Rams and they will be getting guys back. If we exclude the Browns, it's a theoretical three team race.

Steelers (4-2)
- Packers
- Colts
- Chargers
- Bengals
- Bears
- Bills
- Ravens
- Dolphins
- Lions
- Browns
- Ravens

Real chances the Steelers lose 7 of those. Might even lose the next three. The Bills and Lions will most likely still be playing for seeding when they meet. If the Ravens do their job, that would give the Steelers 9 loses, without factoring in the Bears who are a tough out.

Bengals (3-4)
- Jets
- Bears
- Steelers
- Pats
- Ravens
- Bills
- Ravens
- Dolphins
- Cards
- Browns

Not the worst schedule, but the question is could Flacco keep them afloat until Burrow could theortically come back late. It's possible, but I also expect at least 3 more losses before the Dolphins game.

Ravens (1-5)
- Bears
- Dolphins
- Vikings
- Browns
- Jets
- Bengals
- Steelers
- Bengals
- Pats
- Packers
- Steelers

Real chance Ravens are above .500 in 5 weeks. Hardest game is the Bears imo. The Vikings' QB situation is a real handicap. So even with their strong defense, I'd take Lamar.

The biggest question mark is their division games. They can always be tricky. But if you told me they run the table against it, I'd believe you.

I really think we'll be seeing all three of these teams around the same record once the Ravens start playing them. And I'm taking Lamar in the regular season.

I'm not all that shocked Mac Jones is still in the league as a backup QB. I figured he would be ala his OG mentor Brian Hoyer, but it's so weird that during this stretch he's started as much as he has so soon after the disaster class at the end here with the Patriots. I thought it'd be a few years at least after that Germany game.

Good for him, though.

AFC North is such an entertaining division because all those inter-division games are so unpredictable and wild. Should be fun to see what they do down the stretch.

The North is so bad that if the Browns somehow make a deal with a crossroads demon and beat the Patriots, they actually have a legit shot at the division. They have the easiest remaining schedule in the division, and Ravens still have no Lamar and Burrow won't be a factor until December if they are still in the mix. Steelers are very much frauds.

I aint saying Browns win this division. I know better. I am a Browns fan. That stuff never happens. I am just saying it is hilarious that at 2-5, they're still in the mix

Yeah.....who would have thought the division would be so weak and that the Browns could conceivably be in the hunt for the top spot before the season started? I had the AFC and NFC North divisions as the strongest in football. The AFC is a hot mess and I think it's pretty clear that the NFC North and West are the 2 strongest divisions in the NFL. At this point, it looks pretty clear that every WC team in the NFC will be from one of those divisions and since there's only 3 spots, one pretty deserving team will be on the outside looking in. If any of Detroit, Minn, Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, and even Chicago was in the AFC, they'd either be shoo ins or right in the mix for a playoff spot.

@P Supreme

So, riddle me this......

The Giants have 3 timeouts and there's about 27 seconds left on the clock at the end of the 1st half and the Broncos have a 3rd and a mile after they sack Nix at their own 14, why in the EFF don't the G's call a timeout, stop the clock, and possibly get a shot at a field goal at the end of the half?!?!?!? You could have the ball somewhere around mid-field with a couple of plays and one timeout.

At the worst, Denver gets a 1st down with no timeouts and maybe 5 seconds on the clock when they run their next play. At best, Denver fails, you stop the clock again on 4th down, and who the hell knows what happens?

I don't get letting the clock run down to halftime. If someone has a good reason for doing that, I'd love to hear it.....

EDIT: in other news, Green Bay gets the ball back with 7 seconds left in the half, run one play, call a timeout, and get a long 61 yd field goal.

our D coordinator is a complete tool he said he learned from the Dallas game droppoing 8 but obviously didn't he lost the defense but the4y won't make a change

everything ffrom this year was to prepare Dart for next year he's clearly the goods so I'm beyond satisfied with that pick doing this without a top WR at that

Daboll will get get him killed trying to save his own *** I hope we clean house with out nucleus all on rookie contracts besides Lawrence and Burns top candidates will be salivating to coach here that wasn't the case with Daniel Jones [yes he's doing good but F that guy]

and Dam a spell check
I can't believe we lost that game

Woody Johnson just said he wish his QB can complete a pass just crapped all over a QB u gave 30 mil guarantee I mean we bad but the Jets are just Brutal

Yeah......I don't think the Giants are ever gonna win with that coaching staff. I like Daboll, but losing that game falls squarely on his shoulders. He's in charge and that snafu at the end of the 1st half is the kind of thing that can (and in this case did) lose you a game.

While I'm not a huge Giants fan, I usually root for them against those other teams in the east and if I can see an opportunity their coaching staff missed, they are in deep doo doo. There's just no excuse for that level of play calling (offensively AND defensively) in the NFL. The guy down here (Sean McVay) would have been all over that timeout at the end of the 1st half and so would just about every NFL coach in the league. If I'm the owner, I clean house and fire virtually all the coaches now and call it a lost season. It sucks, but it can't get any worse than it is now.

Went to my first NFL game yesterday at Wembley. Had a great days at Rams v Jags, saw plenty of touchdowns!! and was a great atmosphere and show. Jags really shot themselves in the foot though with those penalties mind!

That must have run you a few pound to get to that, last time I checked the prices on an NFL game, I think it was at Tottenham's stadium & the prices were obscene.

Yeah it was like £100 almost for the ticket. Nothings cheap in London mind, lol. Was a one off I expect as its a ballet for the tickets anyway so its not always possible to get them as demand is so high.
