🏌️ The HGA: The Hype Golf Association!

its been a great showing of Golf from both of them, been a south african im favouring Lious to win this, but I like Bubba too.

wow fantastic finish from Bubba to win the Green Jacket, really played some sublime golf today.

Both guys played great golf down the stretch. That shot by Bubba on the second playoff hole was off the charts. I'm glad Bubba won, especially after his tough loss at the 2010 PGA. Louis Oosthuizen has a major already and it would surprise me if he didn't win another in the coming years. Two great talents.

Great Masters tournament. It was my 3rd time being there on Sunday and it was great to see a tight finish. I was pulling for Kuchar personally, but was happy for Watson.

Tomorrow my friend(T.J Howe) tee's up for the first time in the PGA for the Wells Fargo Championship. I work for his parents, who made the trip down to watch him play. I know winning it is a real long shot. Just hoping he does well and can make the cut.

Sergio Garcia really doesn't want to win the Masters right now.

They are both deciding on if they want to win or not. Though, to be fair, that was a LOT of pressure on Sergio's putt.

wow Sergio actually did it.

Congrats to Sergio!

Anyone see the opening round of the Masters yesterday?
I was tipping Dustin Johnson but didn't realise he was coming into this with pretty much zero form?
Rory self destructed again - I don't think he'll ever get the grand slam of majors.
Brilliant round from Justin Rose though.

I saw he was 4 shots ahead going into final day and won by a shot in the end. Congrats!!

Yeah, none of the chasing pack could really mount a sustained challenge. It was his to lose all day yesterday.
But massive congratulations to Hideki Matsuyama. Hopefully this will kick start a golf boom in Japan.
Shout outs to Will Zalatoris to finish runner up in his debut masters and to Jordan Spieth who re-discovered his form to finish joint 3rd.

I’m going to confess it: I love exhibition matches like The Match. I always look forward to these. And Rory is killing it tonight.

I have to say that the Masters is still my favorite sporting event to watch.

Hoping that I can score some free tickets to the PGA Championship this year since it is 10 minutes from my house.

Also, as much as I hate LIV golf, I like to pretend that it is basically the NwO.

I used to watch golf a lot, but don't anymore. I'll watch the end of a tournament (like yesterday) and enjoyed it, but the whole LIV thing rather soured me. It's a small thing, but they don't get my eyes on their product anymore.

He's no Donald Trump, but sure. :o

My word, I got invested in that tournament and Rory in particular. And that back nine took years off of my life. Watching Rory break down in sobs after finally winning the sudden death playoff after blowing a 4 shot lead…that was the type of moment that makes sports great.

So glad for Rory to get this. He seems like a class guy.

I took particular pleasure in seeing Trumps buddy fall out of the lead.

I mostly watch the 15 & 16 feed, since that is where I really enjoyed watching the two times I went to the Masters. Not as much fun on 16 this year with the hole placement being more difficult.

Pretty much the same here.....I was like "uhhhhhhh......no....... what??...... oh S***...... eff me with a driver..... etc.". I really wanted Rory to get this one.

Like I sad before, since the whole LIV thing, I've pretty much tuned out of golf, but did watch most of the Masters on Saturday and pretty much all of Sunday. Bryson DeChambeau "used" to be one of my favorite golfers because I kinda like eggheads, but joining the LIV tour was a completely selfish move and I'd like him to lose every tournament he ever plays in. I get that it's a lot of money and understand why someone would take it, but that crozzed the line for me. These guys got rich from the PGA tour, live great lives because of it and decided to jump ship at the first opportunity to people who are right up there with the most despicable on the planet.

I've always liked Rory and was glad to see the crowd behind him. I certainly was. Seems like a good guy. As far as the ending goes, you said it better than I could

If I was interviewing him afterwards, I couldn't have helped but look for his response when I said "Well, you certainly made it interesting." :funny:

I'm glad LIV golf is sucking air and hope all of those A****** end up losing money and screw over those who joined them. Now DeChambeau is complaining that Rory didn't talk to him all day. Boo Hoo.....I wouldn't talk to him period. All I can say about Bryson is that "He did it to himself" (That's the comment he made to Rory after he self destructed against him at the US Open). That shoe fits nicely on the other foot.

The only redeeming quality that Bryson DeChambeau has ever had to me was his hatred of Brooks Koepka. But now they both are turds.

Rory, Colin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas are my favorite guys on the PGA.
I actually never liked Scotty until he got arrested.

I liked DeChambeau because he thought and did things differently (single length clubs for example) and had this creative mind. I just had no idea he was such a brick with a p.

I like all the guys you mention and, in particular, hope Morikawa stays on his game for quite some time. I also like Aberg. He seems pretty unflappable and has an (outwardly) calm demeanor.....kind of like Sergio Garcia :o That guy is the worst of all worlds.
