Can't wait to be walking around one day only to be brutally stabbed by Judy Hopps.
Disney just wants to turn their parks into Itchy and Scratchy Land.

Puss in Boots 2 might be the best movie in the Shrek franchise. The entire thing seemed like it was too good of an idea for a spin off sequel, but I’m happy it exists.
I watched it last night and I loved it. The Spiderverse-style animation lent itself really well to it and the voice acting was outstanding. I've always loved Banderas as Puss but he was never better than here.

The animation style was unexpected as well. Again it didn’t feel like a Dreamworks production, which is why I was pleasantly surprised but also confused lol

The humor felt on brand and in line with the first two Shrek movies but what was refreshing was there wasn't an abundance of pop culture references like in previous movies.

Totally. One downside in the move was too much going on with the plot
(Death, Goldilocks, Jack Horner).
Things could’ve been more streamlined imo.

I don't like this idea at all. I fail to see how AI can equal human creativity.

For the sake of argument, let’s agree that AI can’t match human artistry and creativity at the highest level. But that still leaves a good chunk of movie/TV writing which is pretty formulaic. Indeed, in the “Hallmark holiday movies” thread, we had playful fun commenting on the standard/repetitive nature of the Hallmark plot template. And I could easily imagine an AI writing those stories (if they’re not already :ninja:). Same for network police procedurals, medical dramas, mysteries-of-the-week, etc.

For mediocre fare, sure. But you won't get a Dark Knight or Avatar out of it. :)

Whelp, this is some scary and terrible news
WGA has since clarified that their position continues to be firmly against an AI scripts. It's unclear if this is really a reversal after backlash or if the original headline was incorrect information, but either way it seems this has been averted for now.
