Film 📽️ THE CINEMA LOUNGE

General Film

This one got me mad at all the Rachel Zegler hate in the comments. Let's not pretend misogynists are not hiding behind her not liking the original fairy tale to openly use slurs against her.

Gladiator II has "unnecessary sequel" written all over it but at the same time how could anyone say no to that cast?
I swore there was a straight-to-DVD sequel or prequel attempt before this, but it could have been one of those Asylum knockoffs.

Nosferatu yet unseen. . I think my top 10 is pretty much locked at this point. A few rewatch to rank them, but tis’ been a pretty good year for flicks. Eh.

A Different Man

Damn shame about A24 doing almost no promo for this.

Sebastian Stan has gone up a few notches in my book as an actor. At the very least, he is taking some very interesting risks, surely more so than Cap Evans ever has in almost a decade. Hell! This is the Male version of The Substance in many ways. A hell of a double feature. Adam Pearson has always been charming in his limited roles. Renate Reinsve Is gorgeous. Seen this a few days ago, but can’t stop thinking about it. One of the best films of they year. Don’t watch a trailer and go in blind.
