So, getting big War of the Worlds vibes from Chris Pratt's new movie, Mercy. Just, with a far less entertaining lead.

Mercy's director was a producer on War of the Worlds so I daresay that movie was probably a proof of concept for this one, but due to WotW's delay, they didn't get to wait to see how that one was received before moving forward with this one, so...yikes.

This year is the least year of films watched for me. Seems to be plenty of good to great ones out there, but simply didn’t have the time to do so and personal reasons etc. But a few exceptions did happen and some I had to make the long voyage of miles to see in theaters. My top 5 of the year.

Bugonia would be an honorable mention at 6, but didn’t even see over 12 flicks this year to make a worthy top 10 for me this year. Eh.
