I think, regardless of the negative views, I'm going to see this movie, as it has to be seen on the big screen. I'm not expecting much more than a prehistoric fantasy epic, it's not supposed to be a documentary on the Discovery channel. I shall judge it for myself!

Does it really matter? They looked like cartoons. It doesn't matter to me whether the movie was historically accurate or not (and it was not AT ALL). What matters it that it wasn't entertaining, which is what movies are meant to be.

It's very controlling behaviour: 'I'll go to see it, then I'll rip it apart and tell everyone else not to go to see it, on the basis they are exactly the same as me and my opinion is divine.'

Get a grip. People have minds of their own.
 
I love prehistoric stuff, but this one sounds like a dud. Big time. Think I'll wait until it comes out on Starz and I have nothing better to do at all.

I haven't seen this movie, but from what I've read in this thread I suppose I'll stay clear of it.
 
I always thought this movie looked like a dumb version of APOCALYPTO. I know that's complety wrong to compare the two but that's how it looks like to me.

I just have so many problems with the movie by the trailers. The cavemen speak perfect english? And Camille Belle is WAY to pretty to be a cavegirl. The 300 marketing rip off. The only thing that looks impressive is the CGI

I'm glad I saw THE BANK JOB instead of this. :up:
 
I'll wait for it to come out on DVD, I guess. Is it an exaggeration, or does this movie really deserve all of those 1 ratings I see on the poll?
 
An ambitious effort by Director Roland Emmerich but 10,000 BC
is bogged down by a weak script and action that slows to a rawl.
By the films last half hour i was looking at my watch an the glowing red exit sign.
Camilla Belle is the cutest cavewoman ever,the sexiest title still belongs to Raquel Welch.
B.C is beautiful to look at and there are a few good action sequencs....to few for me.
A lot of spiritual mumbo jumbo,made my eyes role and the audience i watched it with just laughed and shook their heads.
Nothing about the characters and their beliefs that are introduced toward the end of the film are explained which left me frustrated.
Wait for B.C to hit DVD which will likely be around 5-20-08 A.D

Speed Racer looks so much better on the big screen.
 
So uh, was this movie any good? I'm hearing mixed reviews.
 
Movie was okay. Some good visuals, but the script was really horrible. Worth maybe a matinee price viewing but I would probably just recommend a dvd rental.
 
This is the worst thing I've seen since Date Movie.

I can't believe it got made, unless Emmerich outright lied to the studio about what he was doing. And even then, I can't believe it got a theatrical release. Good god! It was bad. No, I mean REALLY bad. It's... amazing, just how bad it was.

Oh god.

I want to find out for myself! If you believe you have power to decide who sees what, then you're wrong so you should get that idea out of your head right now. You didn't like it, so hey, that's cool, step aside and let others see if they like it.

The human race wouldn't get far if one person believed they spoke for the entire world. :twisted:
