Well, it's clearly a tribute to the unmade Batman Triumphant film that would have happened, had B&R been successful. Joel planned to make a darker film, but... the rest is history.

guys i just thought of something soo funny what you remeber the part where joker was tauting batman to hit him with his motercycle, well what if joker was like come on hit me,andbatman comes at him full speed and jokers like HOLY SH** BOOM. batman gets off his motercycle and checks the jokers pulse then looks suspiciously and runs away.

In my experience every good thing is balanced by something bad somewhere else and vice versa (for example the day I saw Batman and Robin in theaters I found a 20 dollar bill in the parking lot on the way out). So since TDK comes out on July 18, I think WW III will start that day. I just hope they will wait till my screening is over before they drop the bombs.

i plan on waiting in line the day before (probabaly like most everyone on here) the least they could do is not make our wait in line ALL day for nothing.
