365 days ago...at this very time, my jaw was on the floor! I've never seen a movie at the theaters more than twice, and I saw The Dark Knight 4 times! I know that's not even half the number of times some of you guys saw it. How many times did everyone see TDK at the movies?

A year ago, I was 22 minutes into The Dark Knight. While most were seeing it for the first time, I was seeing it for the second time.

man the lead up was so great, but for once, not better than the film, and now 365 days a ton of awards and billion dollars later, i still think that its one of the better films of the decade, perhaps not the best, but its definitly up there.

One year ago today were viewings 1-4 of 36 for in theater run.

Matter of fact...I do believe it was exactly one year after Begins that I decided to start saving my Batman 2 fund so I had money set aside for tickets/gas/food for when the next one came out so that I could top my Begins record of 22 times in theaters.

Yeah....time to start saving for B3.......

Summer of 2008 was the best summer of my life. I would give anything to relive it, and not just because of TDK.

But TDK was a huge part of it. A year ago, I was in Denver with the girl I loved, a couple good friends, a Joker costume, and in the theater for my second viewing of the film. Ah, if only I could turn back time.

I feel as though I should be like everyone else here, though the release here was a bit later around the 24th or 26th?

Unfortunately the release of the film was supposed to be a high point of last year for me, but instead it was the start of a chain of events not only leading to a ruined year, but also so far a year just as bad this year.
