"COME SEE MY MOVIE INSTEAD, PLEASE!!!"

Hey, I'm excited for Iron Man and Indy. They look like awesome movies.

But...my Bat-Geekiness trumps all.

Mine too. Nolan and this trilogy are the now. Indy had his day in the '80s. Sure I love Indy, but I'm keeping my expectations low and remaining skeptical since the Star Wars prequel disappointments. Iron Man? Well it could turn out good...but then again, it could turn out bad because it's Marvel.

Now TDK? Well, Begins was an excellent film, as is almost all of Nolan's films, and everything I've seen just keeps me pumped. I really have no reason to doubt or worry about this film. I totally like the decisions and direction Nolan has made and taken with these films.

"as are almost all of Nolan's films" :)

you have a point though. I mean I'm psyched for Indy cos I remember him from when I was small, but TDK is on another level

as excited as I am to see Ironman...TDK tops them all

The Dark Knight is number 1 for me, followed closely by Indy 4. Iron Man, Bond, and Valkyrie make up the tail end.

Before B89 came out, I was videotaping every special on it and reading anything I could get my hands on. I went to a midnight showing opening night and saw it numerous times in the theater. BUT, the anticipation for TDK is different...the viral marketing has really made Nolan's Gotham a place that feels real and lets you get absorbed in the universe and it's characters, etc. I really can't wait. :woot:

100 and counting!

This is crazy - It seems like just yesterday I was onset watching this movie filmed.

Man I remember when it was like 2 years away and I was like "God, whatever happens let me live long enough to see this movie" now it's so close I can almost smell it

It is SO close now..... I simply can't wait any longer! :woot:

I'm getting married this year and secretly this is more important to me

I won't say that isn't bogus, because it is, but I totally understand. I have a few important life events this year as well, but I'm not nearly as Hyped for any of them as I am for TDK.

It's a different kind of excited, I think would've been a better way of putting it, I've only known her for 8 years, I've known Batman my whole life.
