thats true... BUT theres nothing like being at the first showing in town...This is why it's good to have a few theaters in the area who offer assigned seating at purchase.
If it came down to waiting in line all day to get a decent seat, I'd just wait until the day after release or go to some goofy mid-afternoon showing. I'm not spending more time waiting in line than the running time of the movie itself; not with all the showings this thing is going to get.

Where in the world can I find those types of theaters? I've been to nearly 3/4 of all the theaters here in Manhattan, and I haven't come across that type of ticket distributing.
Gay theater.Arclight is the only theatre I know of that does assigned seating.
