The Dark Knight 100 days...

Hard to believe that it's only about 3 months away.

Feels so close but so far away at the same time.

what do you guys think the lines are gonna be like... i sure they are going to be huge... but do you think it will be big enough for people to camp out? or even wait out the day before?

I know some people sit in line all day (or days) simply for the 'experience', but to hell with that. I'll be buying tickets online or just by going to the theater weeks in advance.

There's still gonna be lines regardless of when you buy the tickets. People will be by the theater wanting to get the best seats possible.

This is why it's good to have a few theaters in the area who offer assigned seating at purchase.

If it came down to waiting in line all day to get a decent seat, I'd just wait until the day after release or go to some goofy mid-afternoon showing. I'm not spending more time waiting in line than the running time of the movie itself; not with all the showings this thing is going to get.

Fact of life.

Actually, they cut out ten minutes of movie time if you DON'T see it the night before at midnight!
And cool people throw rocks at you!

The lines won't be bad for me. Usually people in my area don't go to midnight shows.

The theatre here was packed for cloverfield midnight showing, i cant imagine how tdk will be.

The waiting can be fun, if it's a big event film like TDK is. I expect people will be dressed up and the theatre staff will be into it so it should make for a fun experience.

Sides, my movie theatre has a bar so there are other ways to pass the time ;)

Ok, don't attack me, I've already had a margarita and can't remember...is TDK going to be showing in IMAX? I saw the 6 minutes before I am legend in IMAX and it was like heaven on earth.

Yes, it will. Four action sequences, including the prologue, were shot in IMAX format specifically to accommodate such a release.

Ok then, thanks.

I want it now!!!

Midnight!

But yea, I plan on buying tickets like two weeks early for the Imax theater in the neighboring town and plan to get there three hours early!

90 Days Until The Dark Knight

The number of dirty jokes that come to mind with cover are staggering. I wonder what other gadgets he has :o

On second thought, I don't need to know. There's enough restraint being exercised already.

What the--

Where in the world can I find those types of theaters? I've been to nearly 3/4 of all the theaters here in Manhattan, and I haven't come across that type of ticket distributing.

Today is April 18th... meaning 90 days until TDK... also meaning...

EXACTLY 3 MONTHS UNTIL THE DARK KNIGHT!

:cwink::oldrazz::wow::word::yay::brucebat::D

Sweet, three moths will fly by no time. But coudlnt this thread just be called "Countdown to TDK" and then we could have a widget on here or something? It would be alot easier then changed the thread name every day

3 months... shouldn't we be getting the new trailer soon, the last one when where 2 moths away and leave the last month for tv spots? :csad: i want trailers, badly

Arclight is the only theatre I know of that does assigned seating.
