Remorseless mass-murder suspect James Holmes was locked up alone Saturday over fears that the self-proclaimed Joker would become a target for other inmates.

“Let’s just say he hasn’t shown any remorse,” a jail employee told the Daily News. “He thinks he’s acting in a movie.”

A released inmate said Holmes’ behavior behind bars was increasingly irrational.

“He was spitting at the door and spitting at the guards,” the inmate told The News. “He's spitting at everything. Dude was acting crazy.”

Holmes, 24, was also placed on suicide watch in solitary confinement before eating a jailhouse breakfast of grits and sausage, according to a cafeteria worker.

“All the inmates were talking about killing him,” Wayne Medley, 24, said as he left the facility. “Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.”

Danilov said that if Holmes was released into the general jail population, “he won’t live to see Monday’s court appearance.”

I do believe I said *exactly* this yesterday.

The best way to handle a sociopath is NOT to lock them away in solitary, or give them the benefit of a quick and painless death; it is to put them in GENERAL POPULATION IN JAIL. There is no worse hell for a sociopath than having to live in the midst of the people he hates, and who hate him.

After his first failed attempt at trying to find a table to sit at in the chow hall without pissing off this jailhouse gang or that jailhouse gang, after his failed first attempt at trying to keep a low profile in the yard, after his first gangrape in the shower, "Joker"-boy is going to find out the hard way that his fictional idol could not realistically survive for one night in the real criminal underworld.

Yeah. I just have a gut instinct here that it is an act. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time (I still stink of the stench of wearing that Cowboys avatar after losing a bet with you ). Either way, he isn't going to walk away from this. Life in an asylum can be just as unpleasant as life imprisonment.

I think it's more that people don't want to admit he's a terrorist because this was from a us citizen, a domestic threat, rather than foreign. It's hard to process that.

I disagree, because I think terrorism needs to have political aims to qualify. From what I understand this was just a sick **** getting some "thrills".

I have no problem calling this guy a terrorist....what pisses me off is when we have evidence far in advance of an incident, but because of political correctness it is not acted upon...because we don't want to look bad investigating an American Muslim in the military and nothing was done early on and you get....Fort Hood...

So, I'm all for throwing out race, religion, whatever....and just investigating when it is warranted, and applying the law as it should be applied and to its fullest extent when something like the murders in Aurora happens....

So, call this guy a terrorist, a crazy man, a lunatic, whatever....just put him away and throw away the key.

I would say don't put him on with the other inmates, I say let the fool rot in prison for the rest of his life.

Terrorism as a definition is a technicality I suppose. What he did was something quite gruesome that would spread fear and generate discussion in the population in order to gain fame. He is using the media as his stage and he is acting with the sensibilities of the joker in the real world.

I personally believe he was aiming at getting away and perhaps continue with these acts, perhaps even more stuff that same night. He just got caught right away cause he was banking on someone opening his apartment door. If he were to continue playing movie villian he would have no doubt been labeled a terrorist.

This whole he is white so he is not being labeled as a terrorist is basically saying the media says muslims are terrorists. A terrorist is a terrorist regardless of his race or religious beliefs which are not necessarily one and the same. Certainly the wrong kind of thing to concentrate on when a tragedy like this happens. Shame on those who are trying to make this a persecution thing.

I don't really get what she did wrong. Isnt this part of her job? Hurts me to say it but the world moves on and some people move on faster than others. Due to the recent depressing events, I personally lost interest in watching TDKR this week and will probably watch it next week but I can't blame someone for getting on with their lives a little more faster. People react to things differently *shrugs*
