lol There are always going to be fanatics, whether religious or not. And those fanatics usually make everyone else look bad. These guys are no exception. Like I posted above, religion doesn't bother me and if anything, I think it definitely helps people (though just not myself). But using something that's supposed to make you a better human being to spread your own misguided message of hate? Come on now. lol
I guess my town will have to deal with these people again (they have attended funerals of several servicemen). A counter protest that dwarfed their own would be great but ignoring them would probably be for the best. Sadly, I dont see that happening. They instigate and incite people too much to be ignored.
Seriously, **** the WBC. I know all they are out is to offend and cause problems, but they need to go. Im not calling for death, I'm not wishing evil upon them, but they need to be barred from doing this. These people, innocent people died here in this event that could have come to pass anywhere, and these people only seek to spread hate over what should be a time to remember and mourn.I looked back quite a few pages and didn't see this, so if it's old, please ignore. The WBC claims they'll be at the funerals, protesting them.

Let the WBC protest.....there will be a line around everyone of those funerals keeping them away from the families......Texas AM students did it a few days ago....several Veterans groups do it...and I can assure you they will be doing it here as well.
This IMO, will do them in....
I'm not particularly religious, but I've always felt that the day Fred Phelps finally meets his maker, the conversation they're going to have is not going to be the way he expects it to go. I take comfort in that.
EDIT: Sorry, didnt realize we were cutting out WBC discussion. I'm more than happy to not mention them.
Hob, I'm curious, was anyone gone during 9/11? I really hope no one was, as I'm hoping no Hype members were hurt in this tragedy.
Some of them may be in the hospital and cant get access to the Hype, if that is the case. But it is unlikely we will ever know.
We wondered this after 9-11, too.
You relieze the WBC wants attention?I looked back quite a few pages and didn't see this, so if it's old, please ignore. The WBC claims they'll be at the funerals, protesting them.
