Depends. Warner Bros. could maybe want to distance the film from the tragedy, so that when people think of the film they don't immediately think of what happened.
Cynically speaking, maybe they'd want to avoid taking a major hit at the box office?
Or maybe they might actually want to publicly appear as sensitive and considerate to the victims.
I don't know, a million ways to look at it. Plus, what Matt says is true. If things change, and these unconfirmed rumors true about the shooter, then I could see them pulling it if atleast for a week.

I was just in a heated conversation with a friend about this very thing. TDKR ha nothing to do with some little **** that wanted to get a documentary filmed about him. Jesus, the next couple of months are going to be crazy with Media Watchdog groups left and right.
