Actually, I'll answer this because no one asked me it in this thread.

Erzengel is German for Archangel.

Long story short, I didn't really want a numbered username back in the dawn of AOL. So my friend was working on a comic book with a title character having a german name, so I always liked Archangel of the X-Men when he had the metal wings so took Archangel and made it German which I'm also part German, so in a way it all fits.
