Who would play you in a biopic? And by you I mean ...you.

If he gained a few pounds, probably a young Tom Hanks. Jerry O' Connell could probably do it too. They'd both be able to portray my awkwardness with the quiet dignity of being a Hype! moderator. :O

You have dignity?

Favorite actor?

Favorite actress?

Favorite TV show ever?

Favorite TV show on currently?

Favorite Director?

You have dignity?

I called it "quiet" for a reason.

Favorite actor?

Right now, Gary Oldman. I love watching chameleons, and he's been different in everything he's been in.

Favorite actress?

Amy Adams is great. I'm also a fan of Eva Green and Rachel McAdams.

Favorite TV show ever?

Batman: The Animated Series aside, I'd have to bring up Seinfeld again. I also never miss a re-run of Futurama.

Favorite TV show on currently?

I don't watch much current TV, but I'm really enjoying Psych.

Favorite Director?

Tie between Tim Burton and David Fincher. Nolan is slowly reaching the top, too, he just hasn't done enough films yet.

Favorite single issue of a comic?

What made you start reading comics?

Eliza Dushku or Sarah Michelle Gellar?

Favorite Bond movie?

Favorite Terminator?

Favorite Star Wars?

Favorite single issue of a comic?

Gotham Knights was a good series for one-shot issues, but my favorite would probably have to be issue #18. Batman sits around The Batcave, bored because there's no crime for him to stop, and no projects for him to attend to. So he invites Aquaman over to retrieve The Giant Penny that fell during the NML quake. Aquaman senses by the end of the issue that this was just Bruce's way of saying he wanted to hang out.

Fantastic stuff. Funny, sad, and touching at the same time.

What made you start reading comics?

Learning about them from my father, who introduced me to superheroes. I probably wouldn't have been interested in them otherwise. I believe I picked up my first issue of a comic when I was 5, a retro-style Batman comic book where he sells his gadgets in an auction.

Eliza Dushku or Sarah Michelle Gellar?

Eliza Dushku. SMG is hot, but hearing her voice all the time would annoy me to no end.

Favorite Bond movie?

Casino Royale. Up until that point, I hadn't really familiarized myself with the franchise, and I couldn't have picked a better film to get into it with. I now understand James Bond because of Craig's performance, and it arguably has one of the best endings in film, just for the sake of rounding out the entire film - nay, franchise - in one simple line.

Favorite Terminator?

The original Terminator. T2 is great, don't get me wrong, but I liked it better when The Terminator hunted his victims. He made quite a badass villain, and the paranoia around the character felt very real.

Favorite Star Wars?

That's a no-brainer.

Episode II: Attack Of The Clones.

I'm kidding! I'm kidding. Relax.

Is Ed "Too Tall" Jones too tall?

Which Batman GN is better, Batman: Year One or The Dark Knight Returns?

Why do we fall?

If you could hang out with any superhero (as Batman) which superhero would it be?

Were you a fan of Batman Beyond?

As a fellow Psych fan, who is Yin? If you don't know who, what advice would the Caped Crusader give to Shawn?

Haha and I'm watching a rerun of Futurama where Bender starts working for the Robot Mafia.

Is Ed "Too Tall" Jones too tall?

Does Elmur Fudd have trouble with the letter 'R'?

Which Batman GN is better, Batman: Year One or The Dark Knight Returns?

Year One is definitely great if you're looking for a more grounded story. Dark Knight Returns is more of a dark opera, where you're constantly seeing these grand images and amazing moments. For that, they're two very different stories, but for me, Year One only slightly edges out Dark Knight Returns.

Why do we fall?

So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.

If you could hang out with any superhero (as Batman) which superhero would it be?

For the purpose of a good time, I think The Flash would be fun to hang out with. You ask him to grab some lunch for you or a couple of beers, and boom, he's already back. :hehe:

Green Lantern would also be interesting, because he can literally make a detailed construct of anything. But it'd have to be Kyle, because I can't see John or Guy being very fun to hang around, and Hal would probably get you into trouble. Kilowag would just crush you, flat-out.

Were you a fan of Batman Beyond?

I was, yes. I think Terry McGinnis brought a good amount of balance between what people find fascinating about characters like Nightwing and Robin, while putting a person with a more fresh perspective inside the Batsuit. Bruce was the hard edged Batman who had no time for fun, but Terry could see the ridiculousness of the situations he's put in.

The show itself also had a fairly good run. Particularly when it came to Return of The Joker, parts of which still give me chills.

As a fellow Psych fan, who is Yin? If you don't know who, what advice would the Caped Crusader give to Shawn?

I don't know, but I would tell him to stay the course and not let the case get to him. He's had more than enough success as a quirky detective with a knack for spotting the details where everyone else can't, and that can only aide him in a situation like this. If he changes his methods, the killer might have already won.

Haha and I'm watching a rerun of Futurama where Bender starts working for the Robot Mafia

Great episode. The introduction of Clamps.

If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it...does it make a sound?

Pfft. They never shut up. Trees are notorious gossips.

If train A leaves Detroit at 60 MPH at 4 p.m. CST, and train B leaves Chicago at 55 MPH at 3 p.m. CST, then when will the end of the world occur?

Precisely seven seconds after The Daily Show With Jon Stewart is taken off the air.

What is your favorite Harrison Ford movie?

Empire Strikes Back. Though, The Fugitive was also great.

What is your favorite Johnny Depp movie?

Probably Secret Window. Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl was great, too, but it was more focused on the ensemble.

What is your favorite Tom Hanks movie?

Cast Away.

What is your favorite Mel Gibson movie?

The Patriot.

What is your favorite Robin Williams movie?

One Hour Photo. Chilling performance, and the first time that I really saw him as a dramatic actor.

What is your favorite Michael Keaton movie?

Batman, of course. Though Beetlejuice is always fun to watch.

What is your favorite Jim Carrey movie?

Dumb And Dumber, but I'm slowly becoming a fan of Fun With Dick And Jane.

What is your favorite Jack Nicholson movie?

Batman aside, The Departed.

What is your favorite Christian Bale movie?

American Psycho.

What is your favorite Morgan Freeman movie?

The Shawshank Redemption.

Do you like the Z-Snyder's movies?

Haven't seen Dawn of The Dead from beginning to end. I thought 300 was beautiful to look at, and I liked it the first time I saw it. The second time, it kind of waned on me, which I think has more to do with the story than Snyder's contibutions. Watchmen is by far my favorite of his, and definitely so after seeing the Director's Cut.

How hard was it when Jason Todd came back into your life after you thought you lost him forever?

It was harder to see that he hadn't changed. Even though his body had aged and he appeared more skilled than ever before, his views on justice and general tolerance for the world around him were... disappointing, to say the least. My one hope after taking him off of the streets was that he'd be able to channel his rage towards something greater, but he's only given into it's demands, letting it control him like a puppet. I would have readily accepted his return, but until he shows me that he's gained control over his emotions, we'll always be at war with eachother.

Do you still feel responsible for your parents death that fateful night?

I have come to accept that not all events in my life were completely in my control. Such misguidance lead to my earlier guilt, but the fact of the matter is, I had not learned either the will or the way to prevent what happened to my parents. Like many later circumstances, I have simply taken away learning experiences to better myself for the years ahead, allowing my missteps to become nothing more than tools to guide me.

Excellent choices.

What is the weirdest dream you've ever had?

This is sort of embarassing to admit, but it was actually a sexual dream about a girl I had been pining for over a number of years. Some trying circumstances in her life came in the way of me ever making a move for her, so I had lost that chance already. But the dream was particularly troubling, because in it, we were actually together... physically. But at the last minute, she pushed me away, not wanting to have anything to do with me and claiming she never loved me at all. It was just the suddenness of it and her change of pace that made it so weird.

Still bugs me to this day.

Have you ever had a recurring dream? If so, what was it?

Around the time of Batman Begins' release, I had several dreams about seeing an unseen trailer for it. It involved Bale's Bruce Wayne crawling into the study of Wayne Manor and seeing the Bat crash through the window, much like Year One. Then there were flashes of Batman, but he was in a blue and gray costume rather than a black one. I remember it all being shot very close to the comic book panels, aswell.

In the end, I'm glad the movie didn't stay that faithful to the comic books. As much as I love references and nods, I think it's important that comic book movies be less about duplicating scenes we've already read on paper and more about seeing what other people can do with the characters.

Have you ever studied oneirology? (The study of dreams.)

No, but it sounds absolutely fascinating.

Let's be friends?

Let's!

If you could be famous for doing something, what would it be?

Probably breaking the Guinness World Record for "doing absolutely nothing for longer than anyone else". I also think I'd be a decent contender for "having the most Batman avatars ever worn on an internet forum", a collection of which I've still got to count.

Which Bat Villain in the comics (or movies) would you like to see more?

Good question. I think all of my favorites have been given their due, recently, in some form or another. The two exceptions I could name off would be Mr. Freeze, who's been reduced to little more than a throwaway fighting villain, and Bane, who's never been given any real depth since his stint in Knightfall.

Have you ever studied oneirology? (The study of dreams.)

No, but it sounds absolutely fascinating.

You should look into it. Very interesting.

Are you into astrology?

Have you ever studied mythology?

Could be there be anything that occurred on these boards that would make you want to leave the Hype?

Based on your past relationships, you tend to go more for villains or corrupted people (IE Selina or Talia) instead of comitting with heroes like Wonder Woman or Zantana, who have clearly shown interest. Why?
