Hype Life
When did you join the Hype? In April of this year. It's been real fun.
What’s your favorite forum? The community. I like the movie forum, but the community forum seems more lively.
What brought you here? I actually have been visiting the main site way back when it was Spider-man hype, and I never thought to look for a message board until about 4 years ago. I just lurked for a bit, but one day I just signed up because I felt like this was a fun place.
What made you stay? Cool ass posters like yourself.
Who is your Hype Nemesis? Don't really have one, but if I had to pick one for ****s and giggles I'd pick Ace. We wouldn't really be enemies, but rather dudes that just do funny **** all the time.

What is your Hype Pet Peeve? probably people that don't take too well to people not liking their favorite movies. The sensitivity drives me insane!

Real Life:
How old are you? 24. I'll be 25 in a few weeks.
Where were you born? Dallas, Texas born and raised.
What’s your job? I'm independent into sales now. I just "retired" from my job as District Manager of a marketing company. Too stressful for me, and a whole bunch of other things.
What kind of vehicle do you drive? 1997 Toyota Corolla, but I'll be getting a 2005 Hyundai in about 2 months.
Dream car? I'm not into cars much outside of how far they can get me, and how much money I can save on gas. If I had to choose I'd pick a Lexus for it's versatility.
What is your greatest regret? Hmm that's a tough one. I'd probably say that it's accepting a long ass magazine subscription service when I was 18. I didn't have much money, and I knew that I didn't really want it. For some reason I didn't hang up on them or say no, and the financial burden was pretty strong for a little over a year.
What is your greatest achievement? Becoming a district manager.
High school mascot? Eagles
How do you like your steak? medium well
What’s a bad habit of yours? Feel free to mention more if you’d like: Eating junk too easily. My hunger gets the best of me.
Favorite Place to Eat? A place called El Fenix. If you ever come to Dallas, go to El Fenix. It's superiro to any Mexican restaurant that you've been to. It's that damn good.
How many tattoos do you have? none, my skin is pretty sensitive

If you could live in any fictional universe, what would it be, and why? probably the Marvel universe. All I need to do is to bombard myself with some radiation to get super powers. And then there is Wakanda. I would absolutely love to live there.
If you could be present for any historical event, what? Why? Probably Timbuktu at the height of it's power. I'm a big history buff, and I would love to be around way back when my ancestors(possibly) were really doing things major.

What was the last film you saw at the cinema?Saw 6. It was okay.
What is your favorite TV show? It's still the old Martin show from the 90s. Married with children gives a big run for it's money though.
What is your best childhood memory? Getting a Sega Genesis for Christmas way back when. That system really was a huge part of my childhood.
An embarrassing moment? Uhh. If I had to choose one it would be back in 5th grade at a skating rink. This girl I really liked was there with all of our class, and I was in a new school and town. I was ultra shy, so my skating was really bad that night. This ***** then just blasted my skating all out in the open in front of everybody. She said, "OMG you can not skate! You CAN NOT skate!" about 15 times loud as hell. A mutual friend of ours was like, "Damn you don't have to say that all loud. Leave him alone, he's new." That night sucked the big one.
Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Not a store, but Ebay. In fact I already did that. Damn Christmas!

favorite spider-man movie? Spider-man 2 barely edges out the first one. Those two are my favorite movies of all time. I love them a whole lot.
favorite batman? Batman Begins. Beautifully done.
Iron man or TIH? Iron Man easily. TIH was a big disappointment to me.
home alone, or uncle buck? Home Alone.
do you like film scores? Yeah. I wouldn't buy them on CD, but I really enjoy scores from certain movies. The Fifth Element was a damn good score IMO.
if so, which ones? The Fifth Element, Ong Bak, and Kickboxer. Yes I said Kickboxer. I'm feeling so good today! Ain't no mountain standing in my way! *dances like JCVD*
dave chappelle or tyrone biggums? Tyrone is funny, but he smokes rocks. I don't want my house sold for 5 dollars. With Chappelle I can at least have a Samuel Jackson and **** fat girls without losing my house.
star wars or star trek? Star Trek easily for me. It makes me think more than Star Wars does.
do you like the prequels? I actually like the Star Wars prequels better than the originals, and I enjoyed the Star Trek movie this year.
Favorite type of music? Soul/R&B. I love a lot of music, but there is nothing like the singing in R&B.
what type of music do you hate? I really don't hate any genres. I can find good songs in any. The only type of music I would hate is manufactured commercial music. Whether it be pop, rap, R&B, metal, or whatever. I don't like it if it's really stupid to me. A good example would be Britney Spears.

Why did you stop playing football? I never pursued the college game. My high school was pretty serious about having tall lineman over 6'2, and I just didn't put in the effort to play the college game. Looking back I wish I did. I miss playing a whole lot.
What are you writing these days? Sadly I haven't written much in a few weeks. I do want to write a least one more poem before the year is done, and I'm going to try to write a novel next year.
Can I borrow a feeling? Yeah you can borrow my feeling of coolness. It makes you feel sexy.

What's your favorite sitcom and why? Martin. The show managed to have a long lasting effect, but it was simple enough that it didn't take away from it's comedy by being too complex and preachy.

Who is your celebrity crush and why? Sanaa Lathan. She's very gorgeous to me, and I like her demeanor. I usually don't like to make judgments on celebrity personalities, but Sanaa seems like a chick I could really talk to on multiple levels.

What was your favorite movie of 2009 and why? I'd say mine was Star Trek. I really can't think of anything else right now, as I haven't seen too many new movies this year.

How do you feel about Coco's butt? Too fake looking, but I couldn't mind feeling it to "test" it out.

Favorite hypster besides me? lol You're my favorite hypster in terms of posing with the sexy. You make a good member of team sexy. Now pose! *strikes sexy pose*

I like a lot of hypsters, so it's hard to choose a favorite. If I was forced to choose I'd say Drakon. He's a pretty deep and funny guy. Plus he has one leg, and I'm pretty sure he's won some ass kicking contests on badassery alone. My fave female hypster would probably be Katie. I hire her to stalk me, so she's cool in my book.

Least favorite hypster besides me? double lol I don't want to say who my lest favorite hypster is, because it could cause a beef. I'll say this though. There aren't too many people on my short list of dislike here, but this guy really gets under my skin enough to be the only person in my internent existence that I've ever ignored. If you want a clue his name starts with an "N." That's all I'll public say on it, because it's not worth any more time.

Do you believe chivalry is dead? No, it's just evolved. I don't believe in romance anymore though.

Is this a man's world or a woman's? why? It's both in two different ways. It's a man's world in terms of politics and the professional world. We're still behind when it comes to equality, and too many people in power act like women aren't capable. It's pretty sad and depressing that people have idotic bias when it comes to gender.

On the flip side, there is a misinterpretation of equality when it comes to courting with women. Women hold all the cards in terms of how you personally deal with the other sex, and there is some hypocracy that goes unoticed because of fear of being labeled a woman basher. When it comes to relationships it's a woman's world.

What color of clothing do you most wear? what brand? I used to be a FUBU guy, but now I wear pretty much anything I can get on sale. I just rack up in clothes during clearance season, so I have a crazy variety of things. I guess I still have a majority of FUBU stuff though.

Favorite sneaker? K-Swiss. I have big feet, and their shoes almost never give me problems.

Favorite place to eat? What do you usually order? I told CC it was El Fenix, but I'll say another thing here. There's this Brazilian restaurant here called Fogo de Chao. OMG it's heaven! It's literally an expensive meat buffet, and if you like meat you should try it. They come to your table with different kinds of meat, and they ask if you want some. They'll cut a slice of whatever kind of meat they're cooking, and you eat up until your body says no. Then you eat some more to show your stomach who's boss! Google the greatness, because it just might be in your town.

ancestry.com offers the DNA tests. i get newsletters from them via email (and i also subscribe to the magazine) and there are amazing success stories in there from people doing that. if i had the money i'd get the dna test done, even though its more sucessful with a male's dna. bah!

one of my relatives has traced our line to the mayflower, which i think is awesome!
