I have one more, why did you take my first question like an accusation instead of a statement of simple truth, for from what I see you are popular online?

I just don't see how being popular online would benefit me other than meeting the few close posters I do know here at the Hype. I do like posting on the Hype, not as much as I used to but still pretty frequently but I just don't understand the stigma of ePopularity... it doesn't translate into my real life and even if it did... I'm far past the stage of yearning for high school-like acceptance. I haven't taken any polls to see who is popular and who is not... so let's just say I love this place because of all the different personalities on here and that fun times have been had because of it...



and I miss jag.

I really love watching scary movies... but it's sad that there are so few good American horror movies out there right now that I like. The supernatural aspect of the movies is what draws me. I don't care for the hack and slash type horror movie at all... they are boring and overdone. Asian horror movies on the other hand, there are so many very well done, geniuinely scary movies here... it's great. Just have to live with the subtitles.

What's your favorite Asian dish?

I love sushi/sashimi. Delicious. Between sushi, ramen, curry and a few Thai restaurants out here... it could be very easy for me to get out of shape if I didn't exercise.

If you could change one thing about yourself physically, what would it be?

Being 5'6" sucks.

Not even virtual ones

What's your favorite breed of dog?

I've always been partial to German Shepherds. They are so incredibly smart and beautiful. Black Labs are also very cool looking dogs.

What's your favorite brand of clothing?

I'm not a clothing loyalist. Wherever I'm shopping, if I find something that fits me and feels comfortable, I'm ok with it. I'm more a fan of fit and individual look than brand loyalty.

I have not noticed it. There are no mass tea-breaks here in Japan like Siestas in Spain.

If you COULD live in Cali and stay there, which part would you want to live in?

Either in San Diego or San Francisco. I'm leaning more towards San Francisco as I could always drive down to San Diego and I like the lifestyle of San Francisco a little better than SoCal. It resembles a more bustling, city culture than anything in San Diego or LA.

When I was younger... I was primarily a DC fan but in the late 80s I switched over to Marvel and became obsessed with Spider-Man. Then I fell in the Rob Liefeld trap and started wasting all of my money on every single Image comic in existence. Then I shot myself in the face.

I have every single issue of the original Transformers comics from the 80s. I have all of the Masterpiece Transformers. I cried when I was 10 years old and saw Transformers: The Movie the first time and Optimus Prime died.

... Gobots suck.

ninja turtles or gi joe's?

Now... this is a hard question.

I collected both when I was young... but there's a place in my heart for old school GI Joe toys so I'll say GI Joe... but Ninja Turtles were definitely a highlight of my youth as well.

Oh wow... now you've got me. I have so many AF1s and SB Dunks that people call me the male Imelda Marcos. I really need to sell some on eBay... a lot of them haven't even been worn yet. Actually, yes it does. But I guess not... it's a bittersweet song. Lauryn Hill's voice over the chorus only adds to the effect by giving it a desperate yet fulfilling edge. It just blew my mind the first time I heard it... and also, to be honest, brought a tear to my eye.
