Would you marry someone if they needed to get their green card?
Absolutely not. That goes completely against the type of work I do.

So why do you hate me enough to let me go back home, rather than stay here with you awesome folks? ;-;

Which comic book character are you most like?
Favorite James Cameron film?
Favorite Ridley Scott film?
Why is Blade Runner so awesome?
How would you rate Obama's presidency so far?
Whom did you initially support in the Democratic/Republican Primary?
If you could change the Presidential Election system, what changes would you make?
Am I out of line in believing that the 2 party system ruins this country?

It's not that I hate you...it's that I could be fired. You wouldn't want me to get fired, would you?

No, I wouldn't. ;-; :guilt:

So do you ever yourself consider a career in politics?

JOKER WARS!!! Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Mark Hamill or Heath Ledger?

Which comic book character are you most like?
Hmm...maybe Harvey Dent? (Not Harvey-Two Face)

Favorite James Cameron film?
Definitely Titanic.

Favorite Ridley Scott film?
Alien

Why is Blade Runner so awesome?
Because it JUST IS! :oldrazz:

How would you rate Obama's presidency so far?
I'm torn. I think he's doing alot of good things (like repairing our image and standing in the world, putting the concentration back on Afghanistan, etc.) but I am concerned about the spending and his lack of action on social issues.

Overall, I'd give him a 7/10.

Whom did you initially support in the Democratic/Republican Primary?
This might be a surprise to some, and not a surprise to others...but I supported, campaigned, and voted for Hillary Clinton. This is the first time that I have ever acknowledged that on the Hype! I've never said that before because there are some who like to discredit you or immediately brush you aside in a debate if they know who you supported.

If you could change the Presidential Election system, what changes would you make?
I would eliminate the entire concept of the caucus. In my view, it does not accurately represent an electorate. It is not democratic in the least, to only have a vote for a couple of hours, and then have to publicly scream and shout who you support. It intimidates voters. It only brings in the most ardent of a candidate's supporters.

Am I out of line in believing that the 2 party system ruins this country?
No, I don't believe you're out of line at all. To be completely honest with you, we need more than two major parties. As it stands right now, a violent swing from one side of the political spectrum to the other doesn't do anything but cause polarization. I know that people could argue the 'Tea Party' movement is the start of another party...but I'm not so sure about that. A party has to have supporters AND a viable candidate that can draw in more support than just its base. I honestly do not believe that the 'Tea Party' can gain that kind of support. Not when they have become overshadowed by Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and extremists like the 'birthers'.

Oh wow! You're going to make me choose!?!?! I really respect each one for what they brought to the character. I'd say the definitive 'cartoony' version of Joker is Jack Nicholson. BUT If you're looking for the Joker as (I believe) he was meant to be...you've got to give it to Heath Ledger. He was every aspect of the character that he needed to be...kicked up a notch.

Great answers, but these two specifically stand out to me. You and I are in complete agreement on these points

Do you think the psychological barrier preventing a viable 3rd party from being made will be broken anytime soon?
What is your view on the 24 hour political news channels (CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, etc)? Good or bad for the nation?

How did you get out of that chair I tied you to in my basement? I demand answers!

Those two things are something that I am very passionate about.

I really do. People are growing more and more frustrated by the two major parties and are looking for an alternative. (Or several alternatives.) It's like I said earlier though, there has to be a viable candidate to rally behind. One that can pull in a wide range of support.

What is your view on the 24 hour political news channels (CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, etc)? Good or bad for the nation?
That's another thing I'm torn on. On one hand, 24 hour news cycles mean that very little can go unnoticed. On the other hand, every channel wants to be the first to get the breaking story out. (Many times with more speculation than actual fact. And that's not good at all.)

When it comes to the 'Big 3'...CNN is clearly the most 'middle of the road'. MSNBC leans left. FOX News leans right. CNN is falling behind because people have gravitated toward the spin they want to hear now that the election is over. I also don't think CNN helps themselves out any when they are constantly hyping themselves as the best (insert category here). It's a real turnoff. To be honest, I've been watching alot more of HLN since the election ended. HLN is more news, and less hype.

CNN as a network worldwide truly is the best in the business, and their ratings reflect that.

do you enjoy harry potter?
To be completely honest, I didn't at first. Afterall, I'm a HUGE LOTR fan. If I wanted a good fantasy story, I could just read LOTR again. :oldrazz:

I have been getting into it more and more as of late though. (Which I credit to the casting in the movies. Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, etc.) I've found that some of my favorite actors are in these movies.

if so, which is your favorite book?
I like Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows. I like the darker tone.

If single, when's the last time you went on a date?

If dating or married, how long have you been with said person and how did you meet.

If you're divorced or widowed, you can just finish there.
