15-Year-Old Wrestling Thread is STOKED That Shawn Michaels Kicked It in the Face

I see him as a born potential marketing machine. He's got the muscles and strength to be a convincing-looking physical threat. He wrestles a safe, conservative but effective working style, which can work against a diverse array of opponents and can prolong his career. He's not a bad looking guy either, so the girls and the moms in the audience will like that.

His mike skills are a question mark, granted. He's no Punk, Rock or Austin. But right now he's showing signs he can be as good a talker as Nash or Bret Hart, which combined with his other attributes is good enough for a potentially greater career.

Plus he's a next gen guy.

I have to confess, I enjoyed the Foley Claus, Miz and Rybaxel stuff on Main Event. :(

NXT's 200th episode was solid, I wish the Zayn/Kidd vs Cesaro/Kruger match had gotten longer. Page vs Sasha Banks was decent, although I'm not sure WWE will be pleased with the "ratchet" chants Sasha was getting. Watching the Wolves have to work at 30% to walk the lumbering Ascension through a short match was surreal.

I do not get the Reigns love.

He's the new Batista. I like him too, but I'll be royally pissed if he becomes WWE Champion before Ambrose.

- Regarding WrestleMania XXX, Hulk Hogan is not signed as of today but people are talking confidently about the idea he would be with the company and involved with the biggest pay-per-view of the year in some form. However, it is openly believed and talked about internally that Hogan is not expected to wrestle.

There’s a feeling that even if officials wanted him to wrestle, he could not pass medical tests. Hogan most likely will not be teaming with John Cena and will likely do something like an appearance, a quick knock down to a heel and a promo.

Bummer to hear, but if they really wanted to, just make it a Street Fight and call it a day. If not, at least Sting can say he ended Hulk Hogan's career!

Reigns wiill became WWE champion before Ambrose because of his look, unfortunately.

Meh, no different than any other champion. No different than any other industry for that matter: who would go see Captain America starring Paul Giamatti?

I'm not knocking Reigns, it's just the way it is. At least he's got real potential unlike some people WWE has pushed.

:funny: Young Bucks have been on an incredible ride in 2013. Best of luck to them in NJPW.

This is what they get for screwing over their Rising Stars lol.

This is what NextNolan meant when he said #NOBUYS lmao.

As WrestleMania XXX gets closer, negotiations continue between WWE and Bill Goldberg for a return at WrestleMania XXX. Word now is that both sides are very close to agreeing on money but Goldberg has an issue with his potential opponent. Ryback is no longer considered a lock for Goldberg’s return opponent.

Ryback is still in WWE’s doghouse but sources close to Goldberg indicate he’s wondering why he would even return just to put over a guy who has been “losing left and right.” It’s possible that WWE begins a major re-start with Ryback’s character and push but with how things are now, Goldberg is interested in facing someone different.

This idea has not been presented to Goldberg at last word but one idea going around WWE would see The Shield split before WrestleMania, Roman Reigns beginning his major singles push and going on to face Goldberg at WrestleMania XXX.

It’s no secret that Goldberg has issues with how he is booked and while he doesn’t mind putting someone over, he’s been reluctant to accept a role that would call for him to be the heel.

Goldberg vs. 3MB if he's that worried about protecting his character. I don't want to see a young up and coming star job to him. (Not referring to Ryback as a young rising star, don't give a **** about him)

His return opponent has to be Ryback.

Just have Goldberg put over Ryback in a post match spot, be it with a cheap shot or surprise Shellshock.

Or have them shake hands, and turn Ryback face.

It's justice guys. Survivor Series deserved to bomb.

Goldberg shouldn't put over Ryback, Goldberg is a legend and Ryback will be forgotten in a few years so imo he doesn't deserve the win.

Here's hoping Royal Rumble's card is #BUYS #BUYS #BUYS instead of #NOBUYS.

:hehe:

How about they just leave Ryback off WM? I'd rather see Goldberg come back, Shield attacks him, he faces Regins at WM and loses. Seems reasonable to me.

Goldberg was one of WCW's biggest stars whose been gone for 10 years. The only guys they should put him up against are either Undertaker or Cena. Well, there's Lesnar too, but of course not many would be interested in the rematch.

I wouldn't be opposed to a match against Sheamus myself.

I like Big Show, but he's not a draw. This is what WWE gets for giving Bryan the shaft.

Oh no.

Goldberg should definitely win the match.

However, he should put over Ryback in the post match spot, like Shawn Michaels put over Chris Jericho in the post match spot at WM XIX.

IF Goldberg doesn't mind putting over the right person then I'd like Goldberg vs Roman reigns.Spear vs Spear and Goldberg can pass the torch to Reigns as a new badass beast
