2.0 on the way this month???

I got an e-mail earlier asking me to read the revised Terms and Conditions

As you can see the thing at the top says:

"Version 2.0 (October 30, 2007)


Does this mean we will see Version 2.0 by the end of October

I don't think it has to do with Firmware, just that the PSN Terms and Policy are changing/updating. Firmware 2.0 will be coming soon though, IMO.

I doubt it'll be too far behind though, I know that it's about the PSN store which mostly seems to be surrounding user generated content based to the T&Cs which will, as I suspect, require an update of the firmware to allow this to happen... wishful thinking I know but there is always a chance that this can happen this month. Another thing I thought about was the BluRay update that will be required shortly... there is a lot going on this month

Exactly. The profile 1.1 is a big reason why I think the firmware update will happen soon.

I definetly think its coming this month. It was rumored to be coming with Home this month but just bc Home got delayed, doesnt mean those changes wont be released now. Im hoping for in game support of the XMB. I also really want them to allow us to categorize the game tab between demos, PS1 games, PSN games, etc... Its way too cluttered the way it is
