Yep...no way those abs could be real.

Actually it all looks fake. The way it's been filmed gives it all a surreal look. Perhaps that's the reason for what you percieve. I just see it different is all. But then it could be a bit of both.

Which one? Yeah I saw a couple of trailers but that was a while back and couldn't really tell you much about what was said.

You could see in the blogs that the actors got some "muscle makeup" here and there despite their incredible phsyiques.

This movie is not going for stark realism, its very stylized and comic booky reality. I can handle spotting what appears to be airbrushed enchanced abs since the skies and terrain look like Lynn Varley's watercolors for goodness sakes.

I also think that this will be even LESS noticeable in the movie because its the kind of thing they look out for and correct especially in a movie this post-production oriented.

No... there is substance there!

Remember, the probably used body make-up... camera stuff. So it may appear to look like they are painted.
