sorry nofx..regardless to contrary belief...the MVP IS A POPULARITY contest..if the lakers get into the postseason..KOBE is a sure win!

Tony_Montana said:How am I hating I am telling the truth Kobe has never learned to share the ball hell thats the main reason why Shaq and him had problems. Kobe will never be a reat ball player or teamate until he learns how to lead and teach a team instead of always shooting whenever he touches the ball. I mean sure he can put up points but he will always lose until he learns how to lead. Jordan was the same way then he got it. I can't win with out teaching and leading my team. Shaq same way and now he got it as well. Kobe is trying to do it all by himself then gets mad when they lose and say "My team didn't how up".
What first off if not for Shaq Kobe would not have won anything. Second Jordan is a teacher how the hell do you think the Bulls were so great and it wasn't because of Phil with Jordan he brought everybody else up with him. Once again Kobe does nothing with team and keeps himself as far away from the team as he can and then gets mad and wants to fight everyone who says the man shoots to much. Kobe is a heck of a ball player I will admit that but he is not a leader or a good teammate and thats the main reason why most players in the NBA can not stand to be on the same team as him.Alpha and Omega said:The problems in LA were Kobe, Phil, and Shaq's. Calm down.
Yes, he will never be a great ball player who won 3 championships.![]()
He will lose until he matures, but he has vastly improved from last year, and w/ the incorporation of better players, the triangle offense will prevail.
MJ never was a teacher. He is the greatest player to ever play the game, but he bowed to the wishes of Phil Jackson: Who you ask? The same person who will instruct Mr. Bryant.
I think you assume an awful lot. Your claims have no real validity, and they seem more like unfounded rants. Off court, I've never met Kobe, but he probably is a jerk: Newsflash: Most wealthy powerful NBA athletes probably are. Who cares? That's their prerogative.
I'm sure if when he's inducted into the hall of fame, you'll probably say: "he never was a great ball player. . . .who made it into the hall of fame."
Tsk. . . Tsk . . .come up w/ valid reasons for dislike. He's a legitimate MVP candidate, even w/ media personnel who despise him, and he's a premiere player in the league.
That's very easy to say if you never saw the game. The stat sheets don't say how many times he passed the ball, and how many times everyone else missed. He could've had 10 assists EASILY. Most of that is evident by the fact that the first half was spent trying to do what everyone else says he SHOULD do.... get his teammaetes involved... only, they weren't doing anything.Tony_Montana said:Well it is very easy to get 81 points when you dont pass the ball. Key word could have had 10 assists but didn't. All I am saying the man scored 81 points in the game and the team still almost lost the game.Kipobe said:That's very easy to say if you never saw the game. Normally, I'd mock a performance like this.... but it was a perfect example of doing what's needed for the win. The Lakers have a problem... but it's NOT Kobe Bryant. Smush Parker is fast becoming the #2 man because stupid Odom won't step up and do a damn thing. The reason why Jordan never did what Kobe did because he always had Pippen. Kobe can score 81.... hell, he can score 100 on a good night... but until he has someone to pass the ball to, his points will stay up, and his assists will stay low. Doesn't mean he doesn't pass the ball.
This comng from a former Laker himself. I don't know you tell me. I mean you played with Magic.Equint77 said:besides.. if you were a laker fan.. would you want anyone else on that team shooting the ball?![]()
