2009 MTV Movie Awards - The Thread

Andy Samberg talking about Leighton Meester farting.... you'd think that might turn me off of her. It doesnt.

That doesnt really say anything good about me, does it? :csad:

Yes, I think not sound racist or anything, it's cause he's a darker skin tone. Frieda has a lighter skin tone and could pass easier as an American born girl of just true American nature, where as Dev could play an Indian American, but not just an American.

well if you mean "true American nature" as white, I don't think Frieda could pass as that. She's still Indian looking, IMO, even if she has a lighter skin tone than Dev. I do think Indian American and Indian British actors are becoming so popular now that soon they won't even have to address the Indian side of the actors in movies. Some roles could be played by a white person just as much by an Indian or Black person.

If you didn't utterly hate Twilight before tonight....

Best part was the ****ing J.J Abrams keyboard solo!:D

Will Smith as Next Year's MTV Generation Award recipient please. Nobody else, but Will Smith.

The MTV Generation Award goes to Ben Stiller.......should have been Will Smith. Nothing against Stiller, as he's been hit or miss, but Big Willie should have gotten it before he did. He's been nominated 13 times and won five times at the MTV Movie Awards.
Oh god, an unspeakable injustice has occurred:dry: It's the MTV movie awards...............................

Will Smith is very popular among that crowd, for obvious reasons.

About 1/4th of those presenters won't ever present or even appear at the Academy Awards, so it's not like it matters. Miley Cyrus did, only because she's freaking Hannah Montana. Rob Pattinson and Zack Efron did attend, because the Oscars needed good looking young guys.

Last year's was better, only because of the return of Wayne's World and a Tropic Thunder promo video where Jack Black was dressed like Kung Fu Panda and Robert Downey Jr. was dressed as Iron Man as they beat the crap out of each other and the segment ended when Black's head was blown up after dynamite was shoved up his nose.

How the hell did Tropic Thunder get only one nomination? That film was perfect for the MTV Movie Awards.

lol Jonah Hill has the best expression on his face. :hehe::up:

Too bad that there wasn't a live performance of "Motherlover."

So after bulding his career off of making tastless gay jokes and spewing hate towards the gay community, Eminems career is destroyed when he gets tea-bagged on live televison by Bruno of all people...

Eminem was about to beat the **** outta Cohen, seriously. I figured since he used to do that stuff all the time to people he'd be cool, but hey.

Wait, so what the **** happened to Eminem? I keep hearing his name thrown around, even in another thread, haha

I missed out on footage from Revenge of the Fallen and accidentally watched this awards show that was attached to it.

The whole thing was stupid. I wasn't phased by the Bruno incident, though it was funny to see Eminem so ticked about it. The only thing worth watching was Andy Samberg's bummed face every time he had to announce an award won by by the Twilight folks.
