I agree, but we will be losing Max Starks next year and we don't have a solid replacement for him and either of these two would be good for that, but I would be happy with either of them or Unger.

God the Lions are stupid!

Pettigrew is actually a great player and has the total package for a TE. Great hands, good speed, can break tackles, and is a competent blocker. This only looks like a bad pick for the Lions if we're unable to address the defensive side of the ball later on.

Chances are either Mauluaga or Laurinitis or both will be available to pick at #33. a LOT of talent is falling in this draft with these teams going WR crazy. Outside of Crabtree, Maclin, and Nicks, I dont think any of the rest were 1st round players.

I know Pettigrew is a great player, but they needed an OT and some defense. Should have taken Oher.

And now they just took Delmas when they could have had Malauga or Larunitis or Eben Britton/William Beatty.
