Yeah, theyd throw to their other pro bowl wide out and their 1000 yard slot guy who runs deep routes.

Breaston is only a 1,000 yard slot guy because Larry Fitzgerald is the number 1 receiver.

Yes, but unlike Welker, if Fitz was out, Breaston could step in to the wide out rule and be good for another 800 yards while Boldin does his usual 1000 + yard thing. Obviously theyd be worse, but there wouldnt be nearly as big of a drop off as the one thatd occur if Moss left New England.

I can't help but disagree with McShay's updated top 10. He's got Raji going to Cleveland when they need a WR, Andre Smith going to Green Bay when they should be upgrading their defense, and Oher going to San Fran when he's not a top ten talent in my opinion.

I'm thinking of renaming this, "Excel and Norman's Football B*tching Thread"

If Cleveland doesn't trade Edwards, Raji makes sense there.

Andre Smith to Green Bay would make more sense if Orakpo was already off the board - they DO need a OT.

Michael Oher will fall no lower than 11. Michael Oher is arguably the most talented tackle in the draft, he lacks Andre Smith's consistency however.

Hey Norman I haven't looked but I'm assuming I would have heard if Staffor helped unveil the new jerseys Monday like you thought. So he wasn't there?

No, apparently he is still in contract talks.

But he will still be a Lion. Probably by the end of Thursday.

The draft doesn't start Saturday til freakin 4:00pm..what the hell

In a stunt of stupidity the NFL and ESPN have decided that it would be totally rad if the Draft extended into Primetime.

Because, let's be honest, nothing says Primetime like the second round of the NFL draft.

I can barely get through the first round without gnawing a leg off...let's go primetime!

:whatever:

I will be watching the sixth round with bated breath :lmao:

...sadly...that's kinda true :(

Its offical, The Lions sign Michael Crabtree as their 1st pick in the 2009 draft

....the Millen era lives on.

Johnson-Crabs combo would be damn nice for Daunte.

In all seriousness Casserly seems to think Curry is a done deal, and its up to the Stafford camp to sign a reasonable deal so hes the 1st pick instead of Curry.

Norman, for the mock draft competition, you want our 2 round mock right in here?

I am hopefully not going to be on the Hype during the draft, but I will have all the mock drafts up. I am finalizing mine shortly.
