Cleveland and Johnny Manziel rejoice in thunderous applause.

Goodell releases a statement essentially saying all the reporters are liars.

Goodell is going down. Seriously.....how could he not at this point?

Heads are gonna roll.

So just read a report that up to 20 players could be reinstated of the new drug policy passes, I guess a vote could.come as soon as tonight.

Welcome back Josh Gordon! You had a nice run as a car salesman!

‏@AdamSchefter https://***********/AdamSchefter/status/509807167617400832 A law enforcement official told the AP he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee to an NFL executive three months ago.

Associated Press is reporting that a law enforcement official gave the tape to an NFL executive back in April. On top of this, the article claims that a 12-second voicemail exists originating from an NFL office where a female voice confirmed the arrival of the tape and said, "You're right. It's terrible."

If sponsors start pulling out, Goodell is done.

Some of the Owners have been circling the wagons around Goodell. I think it's time for them to leave him.

I mean, come on. The NFL has several law and federal enforcement personnel working for them.

"We never saw the footage."

Was I born yesterday, or something? :lmao:

NFL: "We have no knowledge of this. We are not aware of anyone in our office who possessed or saw the video before it was made public on Monday. We will look into it."

They are just going to let this run until they have nowhere else to turn or it goes away.

I wonder how long before TMZ identifies who in the NFL got the tape

Roger Goodell made a very bad assumption when he chose not to contact the casino to request a copy of the Ray Rice elevator video -- because law enforcement tells TMZ Sports ... that would have been perfectly legal.Goodell said Tuesday he did not contact the Revel Casino because it was his understanding "the casino is prohibited from turning over material to a third party during a law enforcement proceeding" -- namely the criminal case against Rice. But Paul Loriquet, the Director of Communications for the New Jersey Attorney General, tells TMZ bluntly, "No, it's not illegal."To be clear ... our question was very specific: "Is it illegal for the casino to show or provide this material to a private entity in an ongoing investigation." His answer, "No, it's not illegal."Mind you ... the NFL has some of the best lawyers in the country. It's inconceivable they didn't do basic legal research to either validate or invalidate Goodell's assumptions. TMZ broke the story ... Goodell NEVER even bothered to ask the casino for the video -- something he's now acknowledged.

I seem to recall Goodell telling the Saints that "ignorance is not a suitable defense."

Well the report says the tape was sent to the NFL. So I don't think the Ravens knew about it like some of the people on ESPN have hinted around. Unless the NFL flat out called them and said we have seen the tape, but we want all this to blow over so we are not gonna release it.

No player is worth ruining the NFLs reputation for. Had they just given Ray Rice the suspension he deserved the first time. This would have more then likely never blown up

They should of suspended him for the season. Tell him if he does it again he is out. If they would of just done that, none of this would be happening right now.

Risking the NFLs reputation for one player. Who the **** would do that ?

Isn't this what most corporations do? Give a slap on the wrist then move on? This is why people don't whistleblow.

If anything the Ray Rice situation will cause the other three major sports leagues to be proactive towards domestic violence.

I still don't believe the owners will fire Goodell, despite the facts telling them that is exactly what they should do. What a terrible Commissioner that guy turned out to be.
