So which Packer player deserves the most hate?

Aaron Rodgers for not exploiting an injured Richard Sherman, Morgan Burnett for just laying down after intercepting Russell Wilson, or Brandon Bostick for botching the onside kick assignment?

Morgan Burnett for just laying down. If that was a game clinching INT, no problem. Fact his there was 5:00 minutes to go and he could have gotten the ball into FG range or even scored a TD. Could have at least been 22-7.

I don't buy it. Not until we see the logistics behind it.

Deflated football are easier to throw and catch in rainy conditions. Apparently a referee took one of the balls and weighed it. I've read that it doesn't make much of a difference either way. Colts flat out blew it tonight.

If it's true though, the Patriots are gonna lose draft picks.

You can add HaHa not making what would have been the easiest play he had all game in not breaking up the two point conversion that hung up there forever.

I don't think I've ever seen so many players play so god damned well and get punished by so small things... like Burnett in not returning the thing and HaHa in what was a breakout game.

I love Burnett and I'm real high on Clinton-Dix's potential, but if you told me that in this game the Packers safeties would outplay the Seahawks I'd have called you insane.

Mister J, no one's getting fired (maybe Bostick...), the Packers improved leaps and bounds over the course of the year and with the development curve I was thinking Superbowl next year rather than this one. The only reason they're this good now is because they've been relatively injury free. Practically no injuries to the O-Line and defense led to their real emergence at the end of this year since that's pretty much "bonus time" to gel. With The new defensive guys settling the "peak" kicks off next year and the window should be at least 2 years, possibly 3.

I felt the same about going for it on the first goal line though. Have felt real good about our defense and thought if we couldn't get the TD we could get a safety out of it.

At the minimum that Quarless incompletion should have gone to testing Sherman on the crossing route over the middle. No way he could have stopped that, he couldn't even lift his right arm, and he didn't get the jump on the route. Would have been a sure first down.

Again, never seen so many 1% er mistakes hurt so much where any one of them would have almost certainly led to a different result. That fact alone takes some heat off McCarthy. A bunch of players playing great left a bunch of small holes.

F***.

Next year. Book it. Can't say it doesn't hurt though, most well rounded team Aaron Rodgers has ever had and the most well rounded team left in the hunt. A healthy Aaron Rodgers and they kill everyone though... can't be pissed though because generally they've had a freakishly injury free year.

How does a deflated ball effect the ability to tackle Blount up the middle? Oh wait, it doesn't. It was a 45-7 game. This is a non-story.

I can't even watch the Colts-Pats game after this.

F*** it. I'm going to watch Guardians of the Galaxy. Need cheering up...

I thought the NFL had officials that handled all the footballs used in games? How would the Pats get their hands on any of them?

The teams have there own footballs on there sidelines they use when on the field. As do kickers. Im not shocked at all if this is true seeing its the patriots were talking about here. At what point does the league say enough is enough with these clowns. I love though that since spygate they havent won a superbowl and if they loose in 2 weeks then it will only further they couldnt win without cheating.

New England hasn't won the Super Bowl since 2004
and the last time they were AFC Champions was back in 2011
tonights blowout victory is indeed a worthy and joyous celebration IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!!!

You would have a point...

...if New England hadn't gone to the AFC title game the last 4/5 years.

^ How dare you drag Captain America into this! :argh:

I normally don't feel passionate about American gridiron football, but I am enthusiastic about this Superbowl. I want to see the Seahawks ****ing dissect the Pats. :oldrazz:

Lmao so much hate ..

The home team provides 12 footballs and 6 footballs used for kickoffs 2 hrs before the game starts to be checked . They would have to be pretty damn sneaky to deflate balls in plain site lol they get so much hate for winning so much that journalist from other teams have to find something to complain about

Pats didn't win the superbowls by cheating , filming wasmt illegal when they won thier superbowls but your ignorance is funny .. And even when "spygate" happened it was illegal just had to be from a certain spot but got blown out of proportion by the media and goddell didn't want to look like a pushover so he harshly punished them . You keep believing what the media tells you ...

Anyways hope the Super Bowl isn't a blow out like last year and both teams come to play .. 2 very good defenses should make for a great game

But where is the hardware? there the biggest chokers for a decade now. Whether pats fans like it or not there 3 titles will always have an asterisk next to them. If they win this year it will have asterisk too.

Again where is the hardware post spygate? Not hater at all my team beat yall 2 years ago to bring a trophy home.

You mean regular football? :o

There is no hardware after "spygate" simply because they've been outplayed in the Super Bowl and a few plays went the other way , same way they won 3 by outplaying the other team and a couple plays going their way .

Fact is only one team wins every year but the pats are always in contention every year , so saying they only won because of spygate is wrong

Can't wait to hear how they cheated if they end up winning the bowl

People do realize that winning the big dance is mostly luck, right? Putting themselves into Championship games consistently actually shows how good and talented they are more than winning.

That's what winning Championships is -- putting yourself in the dance, and hoping for a a bit of luck dust.

by that logic the pats have had horseshoes up there rear end year in and year out or brady sold his soul to the devil.

People are always going to accuse New England of cheating because of Spygate...last week it was illegal ineligible receivers, this week it's deflated balls...if the Pats win a Super Bowl there will be another excuse...magic cleats or some other nonsense

You obviously can't read.

Talent shows through far more in the long run. Anybody can make a great play or any team can win a game. But true talent... the best teams and best players show it over the course of multiple games. It's all about averages evening out.

SO when building a good team, you build to give them the best opportunity to compete for a championship. Winning or losing one game doesn't make one a good or bad team, it means a couple things didn't go there way. But when you consistently win, that shows a good team with talent, not a team that got hot at the right time.

The Pats have been consistently good. The Seahawks (IMO, one of the smartest organizations in football over the past few years) look like a team that will be consistently good, because they'll sustain winning.

How about the guy who didn't knock down that floating Hail Mary 2 point conversion throw?

Exactly...for the past few years there have only been a few teams in the AFC that can/have stopped the Pats. Broncos, Colts and Ravens....and they haven't been able to do it consistently. They've always been in the hunt...always going to the play offs, getting to the AFC championship game....

The Pats 3 SB wins were each by 3 points and they are one Welker drop and one Asante Samuel dropped INT from winning both of the games vs. the Giants.

Bottom line is they are constantly in the discussion every year and they are doing it in a time when free agency is rampant. Not one other team has been as consistent as they have since 2001. They have been to 9 of the last 14 conference championships and 6 of the last 14 Super Bowls. They are a great organization, period!
