Bad call or not, had he tucked the ball, the next play would have probably been a TD and the Cowboys would be headed for Seattle.

Again, seriously, how do you expect that cowboys defense to stop that packers offense with 4 minutes left. They couldn't even stop them when the packers went vanilla and ran out the clock.

That feels a bit unrelated as a point in response to Kelly's post :shr:

99% of the catch was made, but that lunge towards the endzone touched the ground and wiped out the catch. It was the right call (unfortunately)

The lunge toward the endzone was the 2nd act. It's the same thing that happened to Calvin Johnson back in 2010.

That's just bandwagon fans who get vocal as they have less real attachment. Saw the same thing from the now diminished Miami Heat fans in the NBA with Lebron. They said a bunch of garbage against the Spurs, and were annoyingly overly vocal with stupidity. Of course when the ship sunk and Lebron went back to Cavs, many of them left the Heat as "fans" lol
They are still fans. You don't get to trade them just because they are annoying.

Well, that is something we will never know...:yay:

Ya I pointed that out about Johnson earlier. People not reading the earlier posts around here :(

It wasn't the second act. He needed to make a "football move" first. Basically establish control first, and then act. He never did that. It was all one movement.

Julius Thomas looks healthy, Peyton's got some are strength. This game is over.

He has cost us games before with mental lapses, but I do applaud his effort in that ALMOST catch.

War Peyton v. the Pats. I am hoping Peyton can get that second ring he deserves.

I agree with the call. But for people to even think for a second that game is over with THAT much time left is the kind of arrogance I just laugh at.

Well, if you don't think that your team can take it all the way, especially once they are in the play offs, then you wouldn't be much of a fan.

Arrogance pretty much goes with those who love football, part of the package so to speak. :cwink:

They tend to be the most vocal and ignorant fans, but that doesn't mean that most Cowboys fans are that way. dang it!
The problem with that theory is that the majority of the fans are those type of fans. The casuals who are around when the going is good.

I think success under Jerry Jones now will be the worst thing for Dallas. I was hearing it prior to the season. Interviews with Jones, and how he wants to be known as a football guy and it irks him that they attribute the success in the 90s to Johnson and not him.

I went back and watched it again and you're right. I thought he had possession then went for the endzone and it hit the ground. My bad.

That's how I'm feeling as well.
I watch all Broncos games because of Peyton. The Broncos' biggest problem the second half of the season was no healthy Julius Thomas. It destroyed the deep ball and some of the easier stuff over the middle. Peyton will look a lot better with that option over a Tamme.

I think the AFC Championship game will be very interesting, especially if CJ Anderson is healthy.

Jerry cane be such an idiot. Too proud, wanting to prove himself right over Jimmy. When the truth is, any success now it decades late.

Andrew Luck is the only remaining QB that hasn't won a Super Bowl.

Brady - 3 times
Rodgers, Wilson, Manning - 1 Time

No problem whatsoever. I am simply blown away by someone checking the replay and admitting it. You are awesome NewYorkSpider.

They will change soon, but not this season. We have no answers for that pass rush. I forgot Brandon Marshall was back.
