2011 NFL Thread: Playoffs? You kidding me?

I'm not completely ruling out a Broncos win, but if it did conceivably happen I don't think it would be because Tebow ran wild... I think it would be more likely that Tomlin loses it choosing to live or die on Roethlisberger and he gives up some picks overthrowing receivers on that ankle.

Honestly, I think this is another game (like the last two the Steelers have had) where they could probably win with Charlie Batch...

Yeah. I agree. It's just that Ben doesn't agree and seems to "want to play no matter what". The Broncos have a really solid D so I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of Steeler's turnovers...however, I agree with you...Tebow is not going to win this game throwing the ball through the air. Troy will eat him alive.

I'm still not particularly scared of the Steelers secondary (although Polamalu is clearly a world-beating safety), but I think it's more than enough for Tebow's limited arm.

There's no way in muthaf**kin' hell that John Fox will order Tim Tebow to throw the ball more than six times tomorrow.

Aw, I don't know. He might throw some screens and flats. There'll have to be the odd play action here and there just to try and do something to keep the Steelers from just keying in on the Broncos running game.

If he only thows it 10 times or less they'll get run over by the Steelers loading 8 up in the box all of the time.

True, but the Steelers play against the screen-game quite well. For the Broncos to win tomorrow, Tebow is gonna have to be extremely accurate underneath and McGahee will have to be a beast (120+ yds; 2+ TDs).

Well, the Lions strike first with a whole lot of ease.

Uh oh, Brett Favre is in attendance. Heh, Michaels had to point out that he is not thinking of getting in uniform anytime soon.

Colston fumbles. Wow...didn't expect that. If the Lions get a TD off this they can really pull away now.

It'd be great if we all could stop with the rape talk. Now.

How stupid is NBC? Charles Barkley on Football Night in America? What stupid morons.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Charles.

I wouldn't go that far. The Saints D is more than capable of nabbing multiple turnovers in a single quarter.

Jahri Evans is actually in a film that we're finishing up. I forgot he was on N.O. until they showed him in the beginning.

Just as the Saints O is capable of going on a major-tear...

Huge stop by the Saints. Looks like they are going to have to cover a lot of field for a TD though.

Anyone else doing that Facebook Madden Superstars 5x thing?

Went with Stafford, Arian Foster, Hakeem Nicks, Tony Gonzalez, Troy Polamalu this week and at the moment I'm pretty happy with myself...

I'm doing that NFL.com Playoffs challenge thing. Arian Foster came through huge for me but I have Brees, Colston, and Graham as well so the Saints need to start producing some offense...and NO MORE FUMBLES! :cmad:

The saints are having a pretty good drive so far.

Will probably tie it.

That was a solid drive. We'll see if the Lions can answer back or not. Seemed that the Saints secondary made some solid adjustments so we shall see.
