2014 NFL thread: You kiddin me? Playoffs?

I'm giving their defense credit. Just because he's played like **** in the playoffs doesn't mean the Colts don't deserve something for what they're doing.

BUT he's doing stuff he wouldn't do in the regular season. If this was October, he would've made The Colts pay for leaving Sanders open and sending extra defenders on third downs.

Does that mean that in the postseason, Eli channels his inner Peyton?

Freaky... Sunday syndrome? :hehe:

Is it Peyton's fault his receiver dropped that ball?

Was the opening snap for last year's superbowl Peyton's fault as well? Depends on if the person responding is a Peyton hater ;)
Peyton messes up all the time now. His lack of arm strength shows plenty and he makes poor decisions on 1st and 2nd down because of it. But the way so many want to put it all on him is insane. Also think it is crazy people play down his playoff record, when he has been to 3 Super Bowls and won one.

Should I go there...????.... Tebow says he is still trying for a comeback next year. Does Tebow finally break down and play a different position to get in NFL? Or does he stick to his guns that he is a QB and deserves another chance?

Matt Williamson was right. Should have been bringing 5 or more all day. The receivers don't have the time to get open this way.

Peyton usually makes the correct play, and a lot of times just checks down a lot because the opportunities aren't there.

He has a nice job at ESPN that doesn't involve getting smacked in the head. He is not leaving that to play FB. :funny:

I think this image shows why the Refs made the call that they made overturning Dallas' play as an incomplete pass. You can see the Receiver did not have that ball tucked in his hands the way it should be to be considered a complete pass.

Not recently. Recently he has been forcing it like crazy. I still think he is hurt.

Is it lack of humility to not try another position in the NFL? Or does he really believe in his heart he can be a QB and didn't have a fair shot?

No idea. I personally think Tebow isn't the saint he is made out to be, but you never know.

He has missed oppurtunities out there, but don't all QB's do that at some point during games? All of seen today is the Colts defenders playing the WR's tight. That's why Manning has been throwing short passes since the 1st quarter.
