20th Anniversary of B89

Whoa. I finally see the shot of this glorious picture:

And the grainy/dirty look of it brings back so many memories.

wow, I feel old after watching that...:funny: Great memories.

All of these clips look like they came from the old 20/20 special that aired a month before B89 was released. I remember I taped it, and watched it hundreds of times before I even saw the movie.

Memories....:woot:

Earlier this month they had a two day engaement where they played a 35 mm print of Batman 89 down in Toronto....I missed out cuz of work :csad:

A local theater plays old films along with new films, they played '89 twice.. I was lucky to see it both times

I have the same special! I think it's still at my parent's house lost in a sea of VHS. :woot: I watched that thing at least once a day leading up to the release.

I fell asleep during that trailer...my god was that painful...

so are you starting a whole new website just for 89 or is this a part of your exisiting one? I thought thats what your site was. a 89 site?

Basically...

It will be launched on June 23rd and will be a standalone site for the movie - to celebrate it.

As for content, that is the contributions we are looking for. Any ideas that can get people together (in public or online) to honor the movie are welcomed.

It will a more focused look at the movie - for fans by fans.

Ha, people getting offended over me not liking a trailer? Taking it a little too personal aren't we? Grow up VRICH and K.B.

I don't like the trailer, I grew up in 80s, not all trailers were like this. Such as this one, same movie but much better made:

Not getting offended at all, your just being a prick

By being critical of a trailer. Then you and K.B. turn around and call me the prick and saying I'm apart of "this" generation that should have had abortions!? K.B. isn't even 3 years older than I am.

And who looks like the pricks now?

I don't appreciate being attacked for not liking a very poorly made trailer.

Well if you dont like it, just dont comment. its that easy

I have the right to comment just like everyone else, whether I like it or not.

Just because you don't agree with me and my words are not pleasing to your ears, does not mean you have the right to say that I should be able to speak my mind...just because you don't agree with it.
