360 version left 4 dead

Than the pc? No, it's the other way around with almost all games.

The source engine is getting alittle long in the tooth when compared to something like the Cryengine 2, there's only so much upgrading they can do, still decent looking though.

I didn't mean than the Pc. I just meant in general. The animations and reactions and such feel a bit lackluster.

The character animations look alright considering it's not scripted sequences. But I kinda agree, at least with the gun and hand models, they look stiff, looks more like a halflife 2 mod than a new retail game. The counterstrike weapon animations look better.

Also, the source engine can still do better than this

"Anyone curious about Left 4 Dead's brand of co-op Zombie evasion and survivalism will be able to tip their toe in the water next month when Valve release a demo for both Xbox 360 and PC.

The demo will be a short excerpt from the No Mercy section of the game (set in a hospital, ISTR) and will feature full co-op for up to four player.

The game itself is set for release on 360 and PC on November 17th. Other, largely imaginary, ports remain undated."

I think the black fellow looks better but I like the look of the female charecter. Maybe just make her look better than a total re-design but it looks the entire set of charecters have been changed.

You can play zombies as well with computer AI as opossed to human players purely co-op against it.

I pre-ordered it yesterday and got the early access thingy to the demo.

it's pretty damn awesome i must say, quite intense and fast paced.

It's pre-order early access from the Nov 6th, the demo goes on steam/XBL 5 days later. Gotten more playtime out of the demo than most full priced games.

Normal is far, far too easy though, it's bland compared to advanced/expert when the demo arrives wouldn't recomend that setting.

This game is simply addicting. I've played the same 2 levels probably 6 times, and it gets better each time. Simply because its always changing and that you DO have to rely on your teammates. That's the funnest part of the game, having to save someone from zombies.

I can't wait to own this game, it's going to be a solid favorite of mine. I just know it.

The Source engine is showing its age a little bit, but personally, I don't think anybody does facial rendering better than Valve. Between L4D and HL2, I don't think I've seen game characters show as much emotion in their expressions anywhere else.
