360 wireless headset problem

My wireless headset works fine over Live, but when I play multiplayer, my name is grey and noone can hear me. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Try a new headset. In my experience, those things are pretty flimsy.

Microsoft lowered the priority that voice chat has when it's being used on the 360 compared to the Xbox, a lot of people have said that it has gone too far, but apparently there are a lot of complaints over the wireless headset, being that it's worse then the connected headset.

It sounds like yours is just faulty though.

The Microsoft wireless headset. I doubt it's faulty. If it was faulty I wouldn't be able to use it over Live at all. I can send messages just find, and I can also private chat just fine as well. I have a feeling that I have a setting turned off somewhere, that's all.

Ok, it's not the wireless headset. I tried my two other wired headsets, and they both did the same thing. I'm convinced it has something to do with the way the people who set up the match are doing things. There is NO way that I have three faulty mics. I'll figure it out eventually, but at least I know nothing's broken.
