This week’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ episode “Through The Lens Of Time” has my fan theory head on overload!!!
The look of the “Vezda” and there prison on Vadia IX reminded me so much of the Pah-wraith from DS9!!!
Hearing “Vezda-pah” in the episode definitely confirmed matters for me.
The way Dana Gamble was possessed by the red/orange/yellow glow made me think of Gul Dukat being possessed by a Pah-wraith.
Pelia saying the “Vezda” being the purest to evil possible sounds like Pah-wraiths to a tee!!!
Adding Vadia IX most possibly being the Q’s original homework, meaning the Q were the aliens that were “phase-shifting to achieve Immortality” meaning they created the prison to hold the “Vezda” trying to stop the problem they caused. Could explain why they put Humanity on trial as they know the troubles they caused before becoming Q, and didn’t want another race to do the same thing?!
The other question from all this is how does The Gorn fit into all of this?! Were The Gorn created and breed to be a bio-weapon against the “Vezda”?! The Vezda does kind of look like a Gorn…
