How are 40 deaths, thousands evacuated from their homes and a series of fires being called the worst in the history of the country not "major"?

To those who may not think it's not major:
Yes, i agree it's major, but I was Afraid that if it had it's own thread somebody might turn around and say "Oh, Those Terrorist Israelis Got what they deserved" and the thread would get closed, and I thought that was less likely to happen if it was part of a "disaster thread".
Also, I thought given how In "Politics" they aren't a hundred threads for every Obama-related news story, Or for every Terrorism-related news story, or for every Sarah Palin-related news story, Rather one thread for every one of those topics, the mods might apreciate a less cluttered board with one disaster thread.
I releize I was wrong on both counts, And on that note can a mod change the thread title to "Fire kills 40 in Israel".
