Has anyone picked up all 52 of the #1's?

I move around a lot because of my job, so I still haven't gotten around to reading my comics. I get them all through the mail, but I'm not at home. And I probably won't be for another two weeks. But I'm getting pretty hyped from reading Keyser Soze's reviews.

The review Keyser wrote that you should care about the most is the one for Aquaman #1. Because I'm mentioned all over the mu'f**kin' place.

Indeed. And I enjoyed a good portion of them.

The best of the bunch, in my opinion, were Batman, Swamp Thing, Action Comics, and Animal Man. And I find myself thoroughly enjoying Justice League International, Aquaman, The Flash, and the Green Lantern titles. Batwoman, Nightwing, Justice League, DCU Presents Deadman, and JL Dark are also awesome.

The only titles I actively disliked completely were the Legion of Superheroes titles and the abysmal Hawk and Dove.

i picked up detective comics #1 & #2 along with batman #1 and justice league #1 today. loved all of them!
had to order in the others i was waiting on: nightwing, action comics, green lantern, green lantern corp, red hood and the outlaws and deathstroke. hoping they are just as good.

really got into the two main batman titles. detective really delivered in my opinion looking foward to issues 2 and 3 of both series!

I picked up Batman #1, Batman The Dark Knight #1 and Action Comics #2 yesterday.
I absolutely LOVED Batman #1. The story, the art, everything! I will definitely be picking that up every month.
While I really enjoyed the art in Dark Knight, I didn't think the story was as good. I really didn't like the giant Two-Face at then end and calling himself "One-Face". I may still get #2 and judge from there if I want to continue with that, but out of the three I bought yesterday, it was my least favourite.
I'm also really enjoying the Action Comics run so far.

Try Batman and Robin. It's mega good. Even if you only read the second issue.

I have purchased Justice League #1 and #2 (as I will try to stick with it) the same with Batman

Superman

Blue Beetle
Death Stroke

I was thinking of getting Swamp Thing #1 as well are there any others I should try to pick up?

It's actually cheaper to wait a month and by every issue digitally for a dollar cheaper.

And even cheaper than that to subscribe directly to DC. (Assuming them mofos actually send it to you! )

Yes, but here's my logic...

It's dumb to buy all 52 series to begin with, because some titles are obviously just plain awful to begin with. BUT! Even if you do decide to buy all 52 series, it'd be best to buy the single issues first. That way, you can weed out the utterly awful stories within the first issue or two. So, instead of spending 52 x 12-15 bucks for the trades, you're only spending 52 x 2 or 3 bucks for the issues.
