I don't think they can help it....since Spider-Man pretty much has the monopoly on all of the elemental powers.

NEW SPOILERS! ADDED 10/22/06 (Thanks T.F.!): Lex disappears into an image of TV static, shifted off into an alternate "plane of existence" by a meteor freak who has sent him there.
- Level 33.1 plays a part in this story!
- While Chloe and Jimmy try to solve the mystery of where Lex has disappeared to, Clark is faced with a new and dangerous foe.
- Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow does not appear in this episode.

And the effects sound awesome- Lex being sucked into the TV static. WTF? I can tell that this fotw is definitely going be a unique and interesting villain.

I had a similar idea for a villain that I used in my Spider-Man: The Series. Wonder if their going to go the same route:

In that we see the figure is composed of static and is able to flow through electrical currents to reach his destination.

Yep, Until he becomes the Untouchable Lex Luthor from the comics . [which will happen in the series finale.] Till then Lex will still get his ass kidnapped, get painfully torchered , knocked out or shot at .
