That must be how the other he gets cured. He dies and the krypto neutralizes itself.
Indeed. Yet another example to add to the list.

Babies crawl before they can walk. Little steps. It's all about taking little steps, or so I've come to understand. :p

Did you know in the pre-crisis days, Superman used to have small compartment on his belt where he put his Clark Kent attire after he compressed it down with his strength? :)

Just some knowledge.
Really he still does they just dont use it any more the last time they used it was in Superman/Batman where he was hiding a K-ring and he even comments on it.

That's messed up think of the Ironing and the pressing he would have to do to get those garbs in order

Hey, it just occurred to me - this was the very first episode Lionel was seen at The Talon. Ever! That's quite a big deal.

Okay, this might seem to come out of the blue BUT....

Does anyone know what musical piece Lillian Luthor was playing?

I just rewatched the ep and I'm curious...

I find it funny that more people get criticized for finding something good and enjoyable about an episode rather than something bad. Its like we're slaves to Smallville and cant forumlate any worthwhile opinions.

I honestly have to say that I love watching Smallville so much and the story that they are telling that even supposedly bad episodes are extremely entertaining to me.

I agree with you Avid, even Smallville at it's worst is better than most of the jackity-jack out there today. I think there is nothing wrong with finding the possitive in a show rather than the negative. People who feel they have to attack the negative usually are that way about everything.

What can you do? *shrugs*

Well I always liked Smallville because it was a teen show for a superhero with FOTWs, all the others things were a bonus but its not this progressive sci-fi show that some people hope it will be or about Superman. Writers do need tighter balance though

They just need a more focused bunch of writers, that will make things fit a little better, without recycling old plots. But overall, a well written show, if you don't think too hard on some of the story ideas.:)

I think they lay back because they know it's a WB show mostly watched by kids or teens in prime time and might not be aware sometimes that there's another audience. Or maybe they do and it's audiences unreasonablity to accept that it is a teen show too partly which infacts justify's the "Clark's Creek" moniker. It's fine. Sure I would like to see my favourite character in better development but it doesnt strike me as something that's an issue when watching it. End of the day its like I was telling a friend today I dont jusdge OC the same way I judge Lost, so what do you do when there's a crossover/multigenre?

If they're laying back it's because a five year journey has maybe turned into a seven year long one...

You can't have Clark turn into Superman overnight. The show would be over. There would be no journey left to explore....

I think they're doing just fine, a few misses here and there notwithstanding.

 I said this 2 days ago! In the words of the great Stephen Colbert "She gets it". Yeah I mentioned this in a thread somewhere (not even in this forum I think) that basically because the show has been extended, the writers need to fill in the timeline. So with that said they add these other elements. In the end its fine because the show will end in a way that resolves it well and ties remotley close to how the Superman mythology. But in the middle why not have fun with it

I agree with you Triplet. Asside from an episode here and there that I couldn't stand *Coughspellcough*;) I really haven't had any serious complaints with the writing of the show. I enjoy the more episodic aspect of it, because it helps if someone misses an episode, they are not "lost". ;)

This is still one of my favorite shows on tv. Yesiree.

You know it wasnt until I moved here to the States that I understood what he meant when the globe crashed on his head and he said "I feel like a frickin Jack in the Box"
