I don't know what I was expecting but I don't think it was this, and I'm very happy about that. This is a great flick and I'm glad I splurged on the Second Sight LE set on word of mouth alone.
I probably have a D&D game tonight so I probably won't finish this list until deep into November 1st. Par for course with me.
And then on to the next marathon for November.

Hey, DGG and McBride... can y'all cast Andi Matichak in The Righteous Gemstones or The Exorcist: Deceiver? Thank you!
Definitely on my list for every spooky season going forward.View attachment 71509
This was a pretty solid improvement over the last movie which I didn't hate but it was a bit underwhelming in the end, especially when it got to the BIG reveal. This on the other hand felt more like a return to form of what made the first movie so enjoyable eventhough it doesn't have as crazy of an ensemble cast. Branagh really did a wonderful job with the direction in this and I loved how gorgeous the film looked. It definitely gave me Gothic Horror vibes at times which made it feel unique enough from the first two movies.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of these kinds of big budget mystery films but sadly looking at how this did at the BO that's looking pretty unlikely but hopefully it does find a bigger audience on streaming.

Watching it next.I hope kids these days know how awesome "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is.
