I never really had high hopes for this movie anyway..

What an... awesome poster.

Why exactly has Al been reduced to bad indie movies? I know S1mone wasn't very good, but the man can still act up a storm.

Saw this movie last year through "other means" and I loved it. I'm gonna see it again at the theaters.

I watched it today. It could have been great if not for some continuity issues and a somewhat dubious ending. The acting was good, but at the end I wonder - huh? Did I miss something, especially went I went to the loo?

This movie had paycheck written all over it. But hey, people gotta eat.

Why is Pacino doing crap like this? Movie looks awful.

Sometimes you gotta pay the bills.

Lots of pretty women The acting was decent except for the guy from OC. Too many noticeable faces as red-herrings. Plus the convoluted twists and plot holes didn't help.

What I really didn't get in the end were these:

After discovering the body of Sara, how did Kim (Alicia Witt) get to the university so quickly and get captured by Lydia/Laura? I thougt maybe Lydia/Laura was hiding at the apartment and kidnapped her there. But then how else would that psycho have made the dean call Dr. Gramm a few minutes earlier? So Kim quickly went over there by herself (why?) and got captured by Lydia. Then she called Dr. Gramm a few minutes after she disappeared? No way.

Second, was Lydia forementioned before she was revealed? Is she like the first blonde lawyer who defended Forster?

Third, did Dr. Gramm really manipulate evidence and witness testimony to get Forster convicted - despite the fact that Forster really was guilty? Or was his confession just to buy time?

Saw it today. Mediocre. B-/C+ rating.

Props to Al Pacino, who still does some really good acting in this.

Saw this today after having absolutely nothing to do.

It was okay. I expected a lot more from the likes of Jon Avnet and Al Pacino.

I read on imdb.com that this was a trainwreck . That's a shame because Pacino should have a better career at this point in his life. It does kind of interest me but from what i've heard it reached insane levels of stupidity.

Anybody have answers to the points I made? I sure don't want to watch the film again.

5 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Five percent.

I saw the movie and it wasn't anything great. Just a good way to waste some time. no pun intended.

saw it last night..

it was verrry lame!
it was laughable like Scream 3 with all the weak actors and plot twists.

Mediocre would be the word I would use to describe this flick.

Nothing completely horrible, but it wasnt anything particularly memorable either.

I thought it was ok. Ive seen a lot worse (meet the spartans, the wicker man)

I thought it was ok. Not great. Not horrible. 7.5/10. The story was weak, but Al helped it along.
